I have always liked showboating.  Never could figure out why the NFL waged such a pointless war against it for so long.
I don't mind it after Touchdowns and turnovers, but when guys do it after 5 yard gains and first downs it's a little ridiculous.

I'm cool with showboating and celebrations.  It's funny when they go wrong, e.g. Leon Lett, Desean Jackson, etc.  I always loved Deion celebrating his way into the end zone.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

    Icky Shuffle anyone?
  • Wentz most likely benched next week.  Look for Hurts to start.

Has anyone else noticed that most of the games seem more chippy than usual? Maybe more younger guys playing and a lack of veteran discipline? Or just more “in your face showboating?” Tyreek Hill’s stopping at the one and back flipping into the end zone was a benchable offense. And yes, I’m back flipping shaming.

your boy Cam has always been one of the worst showboaters. hate that fucking guy.
Fuck Cam. I want #4 dammit.

Kind of ironic a Patriots fan talking about behavior and integrity isn't it?  The NFL putting the screens for the players to run to after every big play isn't helping but that was put there because of no fans.
Mr. My Team Is Above It All. I’m talking, talking smack and being showboating after gaining a first down, down 21-3 in the 4th or committing a personal foul for retaliation and losing 15 yards or getting all up in an opposing players face because they cleanly knocked the ball carrier out of bounds and the offensive team wants to brawl as a result. Over the previous two decades, the Pats let their on field play talk trash. Something a lot of one and done and losing franchises, and their fans, can’t seem to grasp, understand or commit to. You know, chippy?

  • They should allow the team celebrations, I think.  Now, there is always a limit to things and it can be tough to see where that might be, at times.
Pretty sure that stopping short of the end zone and waiting....then entering in a wild way is past that, at least to me
As stated, I can't fucking stand that woman and child beater Hill so I am biased against him already.
I have liked the group celebrations going back to the 80a.
It’s not the celebrations I’m pointing out. It’s the showboating like tyreek but more the chippy finger pointing we’re gonna brawl because you knocked our RB out of bounds as he continued to try to gain yards type shit. Also, for some who mistake pointing something out for complaining, i was asking if they noticed it as well. It’s difficult for some, I know, to differentiate between observation and complaining.

    I miss igotid88
  • I've never been a fan of Cam Newton & rolled my eyes when NE signed him... since then he's impressed the shit out of me with the way he's talked up his teammates both in interviews and during the games... from his handing center David Andrews the ball to spike after one of his first rushing TDs of the year to his reaction to Stidham's TD strike on Sunday, the guy has been the complete opposite of what I expected to see and in me he's gained a fan for life.

I'm not a fan of the celebrations, but it's also a part of the game; complaining about it at this point is about as productive as yelling at clouds.
  • Bring on the celebrations!

Bat flip, Gronk spike, interception get together, I don't care.  Love em all.

after game #1 (maybe it was #2), I thought Cam was setting himself up for a multi-year, big money deal.

now, I think he is essentially done.

    Agreed.

Wish Belichick was giving Stidham more reps to see what he's got, if anything.

Should have never beaten the Jets and given the team any false hope. They'd be better off right now at 2-11 (en route to a 2-14 potentially Lawrence yielding record) than at 6-7.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Great win by the Rams last night.  After they lost so many starters last off-season, I didn't have high hopes for 2020, but they have proven me wrong.  Their schedule may not be that difficult, but they have a great record thus far.

I think they are the most underrated team right now.  I think they are going to win the NFC and lose out to KC in the Super Bowl.

That defense is legit, and McVay can scheme up enough offense to potentially go through what is a down year for the NFC.  They are very much in the conversation to come out of the NFC this year.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

So brutal that Bills Mafia couldn't be there for this.  That stadium would have been insane for a SNF game.  Went out there for the Bears game a couple years ago and it was a blast.

    Folding tables are happy, anyway.
I always love watching winter games from Buffalo - crowd is so jacked and it looks awesome.  Would like to go to a game there in the snow one day.

They look really good the last few weeks.  Allen is playing lights out.

I can only imagine a night game there.  And it's not just all the jumping through table and stuff that made it great out there...everyone tailgating was so cool and just having a good time.  Been going to Bears road games for a long time and Buffalo was by far the best trip we've ever had.

We had a Thursday night game about 10 years ago that had fan casualties.  We had night games taken away for awhile but they started to trickle back in.
