I was woken by a really horrible phone call this morning :(
The fire that I mentioned yesterday.....a close mate of ours works for CALM and was part of the crew tending it....a tree fell on the back of one of the trucks and he was on the back of that truck....he was flown to Perth with suspected spinal injuries and that's all I know.
Him, his wife and 2 kids (same ages as our boys and best mates to our boys) moved to Dwelli 3 days after us (7 1/2 years ago) and we've all been close since.
FARK...I hope he's going to be alright.
Makes you stop and think how easily and quickly your whole life can be turned upside down :(

The Lost Dogs gig at Fisho's on Sunday was fuckin awesome!!
OMG anyone would think they were famous Superstars!! Well, Sam and Leish, Sara, Dale, Wozz and me think so anyways! It was a packed house and the crowd loved it! The boys are doing so well. Im so proud of them!
Having a cruisy one today, my weekend starts tomorrow, going to the dentist on Friday or Saturday to have a tooth filled, and other than that, heaps of sitting on arse will be in order!

Yep serious. It's a pretty fun game. Doesn't come out over here till the 24th, so you'll have to wait until then to buy the $20 'steering wheel' that the wiimote fits into. Until then, just using the wiimote works fine

The kids did get a pack from the Aunties for Christmas, that had all the sprots stuff (baseball bat, golf club etc) in it and there's a steering wheel thing as well, so I'm sure that'll do the trick
