This popped up. The host(s) are a bit much.

Have not heard much about him playing with Guns. 

- Nice talk about VS and how the process of making it worked
- Nice talk about how PJ worked as a band.
- Saying nice things about Eddie. 
- He was really looking forward to the Vitalogy tour, because he put a lot of effort into the drumming parts of the album.
- The Vitalogy album was re-mixed in a way to make it less radio friendly, songs where taken out - and the "amazing" version of the album Dave A heard before getting canned will never be heard. Dave A has a cassette of that mix/album. Together with rough mixes on cassette of VS, and all rehearsals from the period. 
- Can count on his hands how many times he has listened to the songs off the Ten album.

    - Talks about the RnR HoF snub "I don't think that era of the band, really represents what that band was intended to be"
    - "I remember Jeff Ament telling us, if we didn't sell 21.000 record we weren't gonna get to make a second one" (on when he joined before Ten broke)
    - Talks about him and Mike sleeping together in Amsterdam
    - Talks about them opening up for U2
    - Talks about his and Eddies conflicting personalities - "the band Eddie had  forced him to sing the songs much stronger than he would have had with 'another Pearl Jam behind him'"

    This is a tough listen.  The interview is kind of telling Dave A. everything, and at one point inundates him by telling him stuff about Eddie, and Dave A. gets put on the defense and having to tread super lightly.....

    Yeah, it reminds me of Fox News Hannity/O'Reilly interviews where the host is pushing a point looking for affirmation, instead of asking open questions interested in the answers

    And also, a case of a guy not funny thinking he is the funniest person in the room.

    God this Benny dude is annoying. I have to break listening to this up, I can't handle him in one go.

    Me too. And I'd have loved to hear him play a full Vitalogy show. There's performances of him playing pre-release version of a couple of the songs. But I'd love to have a full 1995 show with him. Oh well....

    Interesting listening to Dave A but my god... that Benny Goodman... absolutely ruins it. I can't listen to him.

    I'm not sure it would be possible to get less actual information out of Dave in 2 hours if you tried to. What a horrible interview.

    He told them that he would be willing to come back and run through the albums in detail. 

    That would be interesting. If the Benny-dude can just zip it and let Dave talk.
