yea - course you can - im amazed you like it so much

i was in an exhibition last year - me & a whole bunch of oiled landscapes - i sprinkeled glitter stars and blossoms all around the prints, and all the kids who came with their parents loved them, thought they were storybook characters - but one oilpaint lady remarked to me 'she supposed what i did could be considered as art...' :D i tried very hard not to laugh at her ;)

    heres some more ... http://www.elfwood.com/art/l/h/lhunter/lhunter.html

vital - yea pencils are made of a substance called graphite - nice sketching pencils have better quality :p

and i use corel, not adobe - just used to it i guess

and im too lazy to do anything with it. which perhaps is why i boot my kids so hard up the bum to develop what they have..

the quality of graphite in a 2B as opposed to an HB ... 2B is twice as good? :p

and corel is probably what i need to use.... i have illustrator... but again. the same pen tool sucks!!
  • Lindy.....I finally managed to get onto deviantat.....where do I find your pieces?

I would've laughed at that woman for sure.
Some of the shit that I used to sell in the gallery......seriously  my 3 year old could've done it! Thing was these yuppies would come in looking for art and I'm sure they just went for the pieces with the highest price tags - not for what the art was  we had a particular artist, who's pieces were absolute rubbish (IMO) but she'd crap on about how she made all the paints with sap and dirt etc; from the bush.....so the yuppies would think that was pretty special and fork over whatever price she plonked on it. WTF!!!

Just had a look a both those sites - WOW! I said it before and I'll say it again - you're a clever chikadee!! Hope you manage to find plenty of time for your gift.....and keep encouaging those clever boys of yours :)
I can't draw to save my life.....and as for doing it on a computer - forget about it! Our oldest boy is great at drawing......it's good - whenever he's bored and giving me the shits (by annoying his bro and sis), I just suggest he does some drawing for me and know he'll then sit for HOURS just drawing ;)

Painted sheep skulls! WTF!!!! If it works for her - good on her I guess? As for the 'artist' number plate *coughWANKERcough*

Well......thanks for sharing Lindy....loved it all.

PS: can't say exactly what it is that has grabbed me with your 'Porch' pic??? Maybe I just relate to it, living in a small country town.......dunno :p
