I enjoyed the last album a lot more than the previous few releases. The live disc is good too and if you do the vinyl thing the RSD Hints release sounds pretty good.

edited to add that they still put on a great live show too

Loved their last album and Blender.  And yes the live album is great.

Wow, resurrecting this thread I guess.

New Album coming 2019 titled ... Blood

When they posted the teaser video to FB on 1/1, I was a little unsure if the album was going to be called Blood or if the song featured was called Blood. Either way, cool that new music is coming! There was some talk from them last year that it might be a double album. Hope that indeed comes to fruition.

I would love a double album. I hope they carry the momentum from the previous 2 albums because I really liked them.

The only CS album im not completely sold on was afterwards. It had some good songs but just lacked that CS punch.

There have been 9 songs released so far. On July 4th they streamed 4 for the 4th for 24 hours. Then on Ed's 50 or 55th birthday they did another 5 for 24 hours. Just going off memory, they seemed to be a good continuation from the last album. There's been a few other songs played live too. I remember hearing the double album rumor too and something about wanting it to have 25 songs to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band.

I saw them a few weeks ago in Clearwater to open their tour. They were fantastic as always, and they played, I believe, 4 songs from the new album. All were really good, rocking tunes. I've seen these guys 3-4 times in the past 6-8 years, all in nice theater venues. This past one I was about 5 rows away. Great band.

FYI, Self-Titled '95 being reissued on vinyl and deluxe CD in August. Bull Moose and Zia Records are doing a joint limited pressing on turquoise marble vinyl. The extra tracks on the CD don't look like much special, but I CANNOT wait to finally have this on vinyl! Now if we can get going on a Disciplined Breakdown and Dosage reissues...

I don't think I'd ever buy one of their albums, but I never turn them off when they come on the radio.

Hoping to see them live one of these days.

I've seen them maybe 5-6 times. They are fantastic. They are actually doing a show at the end of the year in Clearwater, FL that I'm on the fence about going to. I need to see how the venue is setting up, as it is a theater with only two aisles (the ends), so unless they removed seats, you'd have people crossing you to get to/from their seats even with social distancing.
