We got tickets to the Gold Coast show this morning..... should be pretty cool, as we are taking my 6 year old niece, whose 2 fave bands are the finger and the chair!!!!! It's gonna blow her mind... if not her eardrums!!!

Yes big Brother is full of attention seekers... the first lot were pooing their pants not knowing they might get 5 seconds of fame... this lot the last lot and any after the first are a joke heh. yet i'm still strangely intrigued!

did you look down the back of the sofa? i always find stuff down the back of the sofa, and the good thing is even if it's not there you are bound to find a few bucks in coins and maybe even something to eat.

Listening to the Gorge 05 show. Haven't listened to it for a while, but seeing as now I have it on CD as part of the Gorge boxset I'd thought I'd give it a whirl. Great show but I think some of the songs are quite sloppy. A few that come to mind are:

Undone - I know this has only been played twice but this version is shit. Ed fucks up the lyrics all the way through

Alone - Much prefer the Newcastle version. The Gorge version lacks the angry, meaty guitar sounds and Ed sounds passionless

Save You - This version is so slow compared to the 2006 versions that it sounds boring.

Don't mean to be negative but I feel this show has been slightly overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's an epic show, and if you were there it would've been amazing, but I feel that it's a case of nostalgia getting the better of people. If you take the 9 song pre-set out of the show then I feel that this show would be ranked just above the average show, and not on the pedestal on which it stands. In fact I think that the two shows in 2006 are better than the 2005 show.

Just so I leave here on a bright note, the 2005 version of Dissident is one of the best versions I've heard. A+

Yeah I agree. Although I will take back my call from last week about being very unimpressed with the entire boxset - premature ejaculation that was.

Listened to the entire thing a couple of times over the weekend (yes its a long drive down to that place where we apparently have snow) and I must say it is better than I thought BUT there are heaps of stuff ups and some songs dont sound right. Im glad the DVD is gonna be a mix of shows.

And yes Rob our version of Undone shits on the Gorge one.

Hey Aus-Suz - think I got my scanner fixed. Will send thru those old work photos for a laugh

If everyone in Australia would just boycott that trashy show they wouldn't keep making it. How many years has it been going for now... 6? 7?

IT'S TIME TO GO BIG BROTHER!

Best post on here for weeks! And if people stopped buying Womans Day etc we wouldn't have to look at Nicole Kidman, Paris Hilton etc on the front page of the NEWSpapers.

I actually thought you would be a watcher EK!! Respect.

Working out = excuse to drink 8 beers everynight and smoke dope.

Outdoor activities = getting away from the TV and clearing my 20 year smokers lungs with fresh air.

Yeah snow was pretty good hey. There is a lot for this early in the season but there was also a lot of idiots down there as well. School hols always brings out the westies.. Good base laid for the season - back down this weekend. Gotta make the most before it turns to mud
