I put in Brady when I heard Cam had Covid.  After I heard the game was rescheduled to Monday, I put back in Mahomes and benched Brady.  I am kind of regretting that now.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

Ouch. On one of my teams (I think the degenerate one) the dude I’m playing against put in Brady. Looks like I’m probably gonna lose that matchup

Nah.  If you have PH, you have to start him every week.  Brady should only start for you during bye week.

No doubt.  It is an auction league and he was my target.  I may luck out even if Mahomes has a sub-par game for his standards.

My main league (been in for 24 years) is a Salary Cap league and I spent a shitton on him.  2 qb league and I also spent a lot on Murray.

This is my first in an auction league and it’s interesting how much the other players value RBs still (most going for $60-80 out of $200).  I kind of got Patrick at a steal ($50 of $200) and Brady ($5 of $200) was a definite steal.

They were 8-8 with a qb who threw 30 interceptions last year.

Well they're 3-1 so far this year with a 43 year old who just threw 5 touchdowns yesterday.

general observation after 4 weeks is that the Quarterback position is as deep as it has been in a very long time.  Lots of good young QBs out there and with some of the older veterans still playing well there are less teams with bad QBs than there have been in a long time.

I hate the Cowboys but that really sucks. Hope it isn’t too serious and he’s not out for the whole season

  • KC, Seattle and Pittsburgh are pretenders. It’ll be interesting to see what Buffalo musters but me thinks they’ll be fine.

Allen has made a huge leap. He still seems a little reckless and sloppy to me. It's Buffalo, so I refuse to get excited.

Nope, pretenders. Beatable. No where near as invincible or as good as been hyped. In this asterisk season.

The AFC is just tough and deep.

I think you have KC in there as the best still
Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and a non-diseased Tennessee are all right there
then you have the Raiders, Cleveland, New England who can take anyone out.
Then lurking you have dangerous Indianapolis, Chargers, and Miami.

Its going to be tough to come out of those playoffs.  The #1 Seed/bye will be a pretty big advantage.
