one reporter had a good question: "what's stopping the NRA from just moving out of the state of NY and starting up again in (another state)?". they most assuredly will. i highly doubt this is the end of the NRA

i'm uncomfortable with one reporter's question, asking if she fears for her personal safety as a result of this motion.

    yep, give ideas for nutjobs.

I know, i just find it to be a highly irresponsible question.

I have never been a fan of the NRA and would not give them a dime.  There are way better state level organizations for gun owners that offer way better support.
I wonder if they will just move to another state...surely they will, right?

yeah you are right. i think she had probably taken that into consideration at some point during the 18 months investigation.

i am sure that she feels she has a great chance at winning and that she will be safe, otherwise she probably would not have filed the suit.

and the thing is, if you're angry at the justice system for dissolving a business that defrauded its members, instead of the business for defrauding you, you're a fucking idiot.

    This exactly

It is very easy to do the necessary research to find out the administrative costs of a non-profit.

We just had the son of a federal judge killed.

I think it’s an unfortunate but perfectly reasonable question. I think it also shows the true colors of the NRA when it’s probably most people’s first thoughts on their response.

I don't know the details of this lawsuit and don't really care much, but I thought the NRA was based in Virginia.

Why is the NY AG making a case and not the AG from the state of their headquarters?
