Listening The Verve's 'Sonnet' now. Great song as well.

If anyone ever hears of The Verve touring Australia, make sure you tell me. Leigh absolutely loves The Verve and they've got a new album out in August. They've never come before so I'm hoping they do so Leigh can finally see them.

But they wouldn't play in Townsville....do you think you'd be able to get him on a plane for them? :(

100% FUCKING YES!!! For Verve he'd do anything. I'm going to get him hypnotised in the near future....he saw them hypnotise the people on Big Brother and is keen to do it now.

He's went in a plane to PJ in 2006....but just before we got on I grabbed his hand and it was FREEZING cold and clammy. Poor thing. He was fine until in 2004 he had a really bad flight and he was by himself. Now he's scared. :(

Poor bugger. There's nothing worse than phobias :(
Unless people don't suffer the same fear, they either don't get it, or think you're weird

I thought he was doing really well....didn't go on about it before we got to the airport....just packed his bags, went to airport, sat down to wait for plane etc. I was thinking "ohh, this isn't SO bad!" and then I grabbed his hand. :(

My only fear is of SNAKES. My mum is TERRIFIED and so am I. My friend's dad used to let a carpet snake live on their curtain rod....I could NEVER take my eyes off it and would constantly look for it on the ground, chairs etc. Thanks Mum!

How the fuck did I forget my fear of public speaking? Throw me naked into a pit of snakes compared to doing a big speech in front of a hundred people!

Before we moved into our new place, we were out on about 20 acres near the river...we got about 5 Tiger Snakes in about two weeks I think, Kaine rode over one on his motorbike and it flicked up around his wheel and almost bit him.
I always made a point of looking out the kitchen window and scoping for snakes near our front door, and one day I saw one lying about a meter away from the door, so I crept up to it and cut off its head with a shovel.....

But, I love holding snakes, they feel gorgeous...all cold and soft :) (this comment is bound to come back and haunt me!)

I have a phobia of dead ants and the usual Clowns...

My Mum has a HUGE fear of snakes! Always has....you only have to show her a picture of one and she throws up.....I'm serious - she actually vomits
Snakes don't really bother me......except, living in the bush, I DO worry about them getting in our yard, because of the kids....and I'm really warey of letting the kids play out the back in the forrest. I nearly stepped on a dugite that was slithering across our brick paving last year. I'd gone out for a late night ciggy (was about 11;00 at night and if it hadn't moved I would have stepped on it  When I called out to Glenn and said there's a snake, he thought I was bullshitting.....Luckily our neighbour is (besides his normal job) a carer and specializes in snakes, so I just ran next door and woke him up to come and get it :D

I'm only scared of them if they're actually near me. I think could hold one if someone had the head....but if the head was near my face I'd freak out.

    What is a dugite?

My Aunty had a pic of a clown at her house and me and my cousin refused to sleep in the room it was in....it was a faint profile of a clowns face wth a pom pom hat on and a really white face. It just kinda STARED at us, and anywhere we were in that room, it would be looking at us

Can you imagine us at a fete together? :D

The whole 'clowns being scary' thing is a bit weird to me. What is scary exactly? To me, clowns don't look HAPPY like clowns are supposed to, but they definitely aren't scary.

When I went on schoolies there was a night when I fell asleep with a glass of Coke on the table next to my bed. When I woke up I drank the Coke and it wasn't until I finished that I realised that there were hundreds of the little buggers making a trail up the glass and into the Coke (and probably a hundred or more in my stomach at that point). My mates saw me do it but didn't have the decency to tell me before I drunk the Coke  They pissed themselves laughing

We lived there before we moved here (moved to Dwelli in 2000) we lived right up on top of the hill on Caulfields Hwy. It was so beautiful there :) We had the most magical view!

When I first moved out of home the house I was in had a really bad plague of ants, and I ended up killing them all the time, there was dead ants on the benches, on the windows....when we were trying to get rid of the ants the whole window turned black from all the ants coming from the ceiling

Im not sure if it stems from that, but I know I get a really yucky feeling when theres a dead ant in my kitchen and I have to get Kaine to get rid of it or i'll feel like im going to vomit....im such a weirdo I know
(in describing that, I think it may just be a general FEAR of dead ants, as opposed to a PHOBIA of them. I think phobia may be a bit extreme)
