Funny you mention that - I watch unplugged last night for the first time in years. That version of SOLAT is gobsmackingly marvelous.

All I can hear out my office window is hippies singing and chanting. Pitt street is chaotic.
My dad was telling me they're yelling... "Jesus Jesus Jesus... Oi Oi Oi!!"

    hahahaha sad

Sounds like the Sydney Olympic Games all over again. I liked the Olympics though. That was fun.

On the news tonight we'll probably hear about them all getting pissed at the pub and getting into drunken brawls. ;)

You going to Perth ya lucky bastard. Blew me away how long the flight was - Im so used to the quick beer, read the sports page and land at Byron or the Goldie.

Speaking of holidays...there is no way I can make Sams party. My exams are 2 weeks later so its not even feasible. Im pissed but hey!!!

Sam sorry champ. Nath and I will be up in November (and anyone else who wants to join) and will hit the Grosvenor for a few nights after a few in Byron. Start warming your liver.

Kidding :D I'm not a fan of either of those bands either :D Not that I've really bothered to listen to any of their stuff much. I'm slack...I battle to listen to all the music I already love, each day, let alone anything else :o Pure slackness on my part :p

im not one to speak much about world youth day *cos im getting old* but why must people get all crazy and stuff? Not to say they will, but I think that WYD is such an amazing thing. People from the world over merging in one place for what they believe is a greater good. I just think its wonderful. And if anyone starts shit then they should be ashamed of themselves.
Its not a Mass Conversion, its people with faith. Your not going to get holy water thrown on you or taken away by a cult and transformed into a Jesus Loving crazy person. Im not Catholic, and I certainly am not a person of meaningful faith, but I just think this is cool.

    mole......

i was just thinking the other day how little I am listening to Pearl Jam at the moment. I think i infused myself with their music SO MUCH that I need a break from them for a little while. I still get excited when i hear them play, and we have 2 songs from Into the WIld that play on the system at work, which is super sweet.... just need to listen to my other fav bands for a little while.

Didnt hear that one. They are all walks of life Ill tell ya. Age, race, skinny/fat, ugly/hot, nuns, monks, hippies.

They are all carrying these flouro orange bags. Whoever made them must be worth a fortune. Ive honestly seen LIKE 3 thousand of em today - which could be 2671 or 3213. In fact it could be even 3000 like. Do you know what I mean?

    No you're not a bad person......for that :p

I do have days where I don't listen to PJ as much as other days....but never go a day where I don't listen to them at all......as much as I've tried :o
I DO listen to my other favorite music as well......one of the first things I do when I get up in the morning is put music on and it's usually the ipod through speakers so it goes through lots of different albums from all my favs. I do have a lot of days where it's ONLY PJ though :o

i hardly ever listen to PJ, unless a new album came out or they are close to touring or something.

i can honestly say it's been longer then a month since i've heard 2 or more PJ songs in a row.
