Well I remember it was across the road from St Vincents Private Clinic in Darlinghurst, which I used to think was kind of ironic as apparently it was where a lot of gay men dying of AIDS used to go. :( :o

Dept of Environment? You mean the federal government one in Canberra?
My last temp job was the NSW Dept of Environment and Climate Change in Sydney. Was a pretty good place to work.

department of environment, water, heritage & the arts, right smack bang in the middle of canberra, yea

ive concentrated on getting my foot in there because its such a boom dept right now, with all the world focus on c/change & water etc - plenty of jobs, and money flowing in there atm

the two positions im really keen on in there is one in the arts & heritage grants program, and another one in renewable energy which looks at rebates etc for conservation work

or - theres one in dept of immigration, because it's pretty close to where im planning on buying a house over there - but would be sort of interesting i guess. if eddie ever decides to immigrate, we'll have a heads up ;)

I needed Sam there - he woulda boogied with me :D

I was in the rebates section at the NSW Dept of Environment.

I've temped at the Dept of Immigration in Sydney too. Didn't like it there much though .. a bit too busy and unfriendly.

Well I wouldn't now.. I'm talking about a long time ago. My musical tastes have changed since then, obviously. :)

Scruffy Murphy's? I that the pub in Goulburn Street? I used to work in that street and used to laugh at the people sitting out on the footpath having a beer at 9 am.

    Well, just bought a Wii

Got the console and sports, plus Mario Kart with wheel, bought an extra wheel, wii play and remote bundle, wii fit and extra nunchuck.

all up $730 bucks on 12mths interest free, so $14/week.

I guess thats manageable, and Kylie, ill look at getting it chipped to play the 'backup' games...

oh dont worry - working at a centrelink regional office makes you very very grateful for your life 'away' from work on a minute by minute basis

and no-one got good tickets there - they all thought they were being ripped off
