So...one of Connors liitle mates came over after school today and when his Dad came to pick him up he hands me a piece of paper...
The Dad: Here's an invitation for Connor to come to Calluns birthday party this Sunday. Will he be able to come?
Me: Of course....he'll be there for sure....thanks.
*in my head* WTF! Dickhead! Thanks for the late notice! I've spent half the day in Mandurah today and now I'm sposed to go back again just to get a birthday present!........NO PRESENT FOR YOUR SON!!!!!!!!!!!! (bad) :mad:
(unwritten rule up here is to give at least a weeks notice, so we can buy a present on the weekly/fortnightly shopping trip)
oh nooooooo!! is Callun getting a pic of your EV surfboard or the leftover pieces of the EV pillow for his bday?

Well....Maddi HAS been doing a lot of paintings lately....her latest thing is paintings of beads (so she tells me - they look exactly the same as all the rainbows, butterflies, mushrooms, flowers etc; that she paints, to me??) and she keeps telling me I have to put one of these paintings of beads in with my customers orders :eek: hence....I have a lot of these paintings, that she thinks have been posted out to customers, hidden away.....maybe Callun would like one?
Haha....nah....I'll make another trip to Mandurah and get him a proper pressie...it just makes it work out to about a $50 present with the cost of friggen fuel :rolleyes:

We've got a General Store here in Dwelli....for news papers, milk bread and basic stuff.....but it's all about double the normal price, so only use it for emergencies.
