The Golf Thread

KF Tour player Nick Hardy was quoted in our local news yesterday: “I’ve got some ideas. I’m actually going to head to Indiana to play a few times next week.” If he can be that open about circumventing the Illinois shelter-in-place order, I don't feel too bad about going there to play sometime soon as well.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.0 -
My county allows no golf in Indiana. I am too busy to golf right now anyway with work but would feel a little guilty driving to another county to play.0

Thanks! Yesterday was my 10th consecutive day playing. Looking like weather might put my streak to a stop. Plus my body could use the rest. I walk when I play. No carts.bbiggs said:
Holy crap! Nice round and even more impressive streak of 8 days playing! I wish I could play.JojoRice said:Shot 82 today. My 8th straight day of playing. Looking forward to keeping the streak going tomorrow"I got memories, I got shit"0 -
MOVING DAY! Can’t wait to settle in for the aftern....DAMMIT0

It is so depressing, isn't it?
I am enjoying the old replays though. 05 last night. That chip on 16....just perfect. Even the wife was impressed watching that last night. Thing of beauty!www.myspace.com0 -
I watched 2005 and wonder how Tiger won that thing. Dimarco lost it more than Tiger won.0

2019 final round of Masters is on CBS right now.0

This is fun to watch. Too bad Tiger isn’t commenting the entire round. That would be fun.0

Molanari about to be on 12! This is when it gets real0

Get chills to this day0

I liked how they did it. The whole round would've been a bit of overkill.bootlegger10 said:This is fun to watch. Too bad Tiger isn’t commenting the entire round. That would be fun.
Yeah that was fun yesterday. Hard to believe this shit's been going on for a month now.www.myspace.com0 -

Yeah that was fun yesterday. Hard to believe this shit's been going on for a month now.For sure. I didn't realize they were going to keep checking in with him.
This is nuts. I just want to golf. Small concern compared to others but damnit I want to golf.

At this point we‘be missed or are missing golf, March Madness, the start of baseball and the NBA playoffs among others.bootlegger10 said:The Juggler said:

I can safely say golf is the thing I miss most and it’s not as close as I would’ve expected.www.myspace.com0 -
Looks like the PGA Tour will resume June 11 with the Charles Schwab tournament. No spectators. I'll take it. Better than nothing.

It's good that they have a plan in place and I hope it can happen but even without fans, there are so many people involved with putting on a golf tournament. Hard to see it happening right now but who the hell knows. Things were somewhat normal 6 weeks ago and look where we are now....things can change quickly.0 -
^ Agreed. They're supposed to announce it this week. We'll see if it comes to fruition.

Yeah, I have a tough time seeing this. The travel involved for so many people and like you say, just the people involved with putting it on, I have a tough time seeing someone not getting it then where are we?Indifference71 said:bbiggs said:Looks like the PGA Tour will resume June 11 with the Charles Schwab tournament. Who knows...maybe we are getting there but I have no trust in anything the government says. They want to reopen but there is literally no plan on testing or how to do so.0 -
I knew it..Greenbriar taken off schedule indefinitely..moving it to fall was a killer..and now the virus has finished it off,,shame.
Charlottesville 2013
Hampton 20160 -
That sucks. I like the course and the tournament. Didn't love a par 3 as a finishing hole, but it did at some excitement if the leader board was bunched up.wndowpayne said:I knew it..Greenbriar taken off schedule indefinitely..moving it to fall was a killer..and now the virus has finished it off,,shame.

I wonder if the Greenbrier was canceled due to the resort being needed for "continuity of government planning?" (cue the conspiracy music)
