    Got that queensryche lp! It's definitely a classic that I dont spin much, but when I do it takes me right back to my early teens. 
    We all got dressed up and did a fake performance of queen of the reich at a school talent show. I wore my brothers striped pants! I really thought I was a rock star metalhead.
    We would ride our bikes and mopeds to circle in a square record store a few towns away. Scored lots of my metal collection there. Metallica, iron maiden...another record store was pyramid records. I remember getting my manowar records there. They sold rolling papers, bongs...I left that alone.
    Didn't need anything but music...
    I'd of hung with those dudes for sure!

    In 1989 I wasn't listening to the fluff stuff like Poison, Slaughter and Whitesanke but for whatever reason I enjoyed Warrant's first album...  I was getting into the Misfits, and Minor Threat with Metallica and Megadeth in heavy rotation and just started listening to a band called Soundgarden.
