Wondering why tour hasn't been canceled ?

I think 2020 only happens if there’s a treatment. It could happen, but betting on it? That I wouldn’t do. On the other hand 2022 seems pessimistic. There will probably be a breakthrough before that.PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024: Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

I would start listening to what Bill Gates has to say about the whole thing.0

I'll take you up on that bet, what do you want to wager? Shit, I just saw a news piece about how a Walmart store is getting sued because two of their workers caught the virus and died from it. Do you think arenas or stadiums want to open themselves up to potential law suits if someone dies from virus by attending a concert or sporting event without a known vaccine/cure?pjhawks said:ComeToTX said:Getting back to work slowly and safely and having mass gatherings are 2 very different things.
ill bet there will be full NFL, college football and Euro league soccer stadiums in 2020.0 -
I don't know about you, but even though I'm stuck to my house I'm still working remotely in the IT industry. It's the services industry that's going to take a beating from this shutdown.pjhawks said:you people are nuts if you think sports and businesses will be shut down until 2022. not unless you want a worldwide depression. there will have to be solutions to get people back to work even if this thing continues on.
And did you know that Microsoft just cancelled ALL of their live events through the summer of 2021? So while I don't want to wait that long to get back to normal life, how we're living now just might be the new normal for quite some time.0 -

But to add to that, businesses minus large gatherings, will happen.
We may get some sports with no fans in attendance at some point.Turn this anger into

Just saw a model that has zero deaths in the USA and Pennsylvania by mid June. The next few weeks are going to be terrible but we aren’t at the apex yet. If there are projected zero deaths in summer things will begin again. It may or may not come back if course.Red Mosqito said:

But the key factor in the zero-deaths-by-June graph is that it is based on "full social distancing." If that stops, infections and deaths will spike again.pjhawks said:

Correct. Its time to cancel the NA and European tour. Redraw next year, all seats, HOPEFULLY. This is the only logical move IMO.0

No thanks. I am perfectly content with my tickets/seat locations and have absolutely no issues with holding on to my tickets, as I have every intention of still attending these (spring NA for me) shows whenever they are rescheduled. Regardless if it's 2021 or 2022 they will be rescheduled. Why would they completely cancel out and redraw? How would that be fair to those who were selected in the initial drawing and chose to hold on to their tickets and wait for the make up date?RS65573 said:Correct. I have tickets to a few shows including MSG. GA is over for a while if ever. This will be redrawn whether I like it or not.0
-
If it is safe to sit in a seat with people on all sides, line up for concessions, line up for the restroom, line up for security for entering the building, take transit to venues, then it is safe for GA. And if not, not. Some people may decide they want to sell their GA, which is fine. There will be plenty of buyers.PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024: Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

No, there is just not going to be any shows until it has been deemed safe to do so. Whenever that may be. If anything, maybe see some changes made to GA like having it become a seated area with rows and seat numbers to help keep "somewhat" of a distance between you and others in the area. But really its not very different to how close you are to your neighbors in Reserved seating. We will eventually get back to a point of normalcy, where people go back to attending sporting events, concerts, and festivals.RS65573 said:I have tickets to a few shows including MSG. And use GA seating in this fall on the east coast? That is not going to happen.PeterED said:
