Two slow songs in a row.  Very surprising.

Will not be surprised it will be 3 in a row when Immortality wins from Vitalogy. They may not be hard rockers but, for me they are the 3 best songs from the first 3 albums.
Thinking Corduroy for Vitalogy but both of those are amazing songs and in my top 5 with ease.

Immortality to continue the trend! I agree, Release, Indifference and Immortality cut to the soul (especially after some vino - no ice though).

I love Around the Bend, but it lacks the depth of the first 3 closers.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Wow I thought RVM was going to have this one decisively.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

Present Tense isn't an all out rocker although it does jam out at one point like Immortality but, to me qualifies much in the same vein as Release, Indifference and Immortality in that it builds slowly and deeply crushes your emotions.

I’ll put Vitalogy up before I crash tonight (in BC). That way our European members will get a chance to play a round or two!

Now this is SONG survival. I guess I still have to include Stupid Mop et al?!

Hot take: No Code would have benefited if it had ended after Present Tense.
(last three tracks are the weakest...prove me wrong two polls from now!!!)

I will definitely give you Mankind and I'm Open but, I do like Around The Bend just not as the last song. I too would've closed the album with Present Tense.

A little surprised that RVM didn't win this one.

One might argue that recent live performances haven’t been as ... inspiring as they used to be.
    (Will always love it, however)

20 years ago, Leash would have crushed with Animal and Go in close competition. Not today though. We're older and reflect more on life.

After song survival for the albums, it would be fun to do an album survival with the studio albums. Would you include Lost Dogs?

I still wanted Blood or Animal to win. Always been my favorite two off vs

Was considering doing the albums. Maybe should have started with that!?!?

... planning to do non-album tracks but thinking of doing it by era as opposed to using Lost Dogs. I know this might be an unpopular opinion but I think they could have me tracked better.

I’ve always loved Animal but, I’m a bit embarrassed to admit, I used to dislike Blood!
Love it nowadays. Can’t quite recall what made me change my mind... might have been hearing some of the live versions from ‘93 to ‘95. They’re awesome.
