First spin right now, and I LOVE it. I am glad I waited and didn't listen before. We should be on our way to Washington now for the Baltimore show, and this album is making me teary eyed because we can't be there but also hopeful for the things to come. I cannot wait to see it live. Thank you, boys!
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
Listening to full album for first time tonight on the deck with a few beers. Love it. I’d be less than a week away from the Denver show. This will suffice. Can’t wait to see these tracks live.
Btw - as a Gen X’er with a blah attitude towards a lot of social interaction anyway, I was born for this social distancing thing. Just give me some PJ and you I’m good.
First of all and most important: I wish you and your families and friends all the very best in these hard times. Stay healthy and faithful and don’t loose your senae of humor, help each other and please, please refrain from social distancing - only do physical distancing. Your family/friends/society needs you - at the moment with distance.
Having said that: Thank you guys for a great album, I am in love with it since listening to it for the very first time. For me, best album since Avocado. Can’t wait to hit the road with all of you. Although I doubt we will see each other this year!

Am I the only one who thinks the opening note of Seven O'Clock sounds like the opening note of Rush's Xanadu? Or maybe Neil Peart is just speaking to me from the grave.... or maybe I've been sequestered too long at home.
Gigaton on repeat here in Leeds UK, take care everyone, gutted that BST Hyde Park won't happen but i am sure it will be re - arranged after this virus passes. Waiting for amazon to deliver the hard copy any day soon.

My copy arrived in the UK today. Its still in quarantine for a while before I open it but it will be worth the wait. Sleeve looks great btw. I wasnt sold on the artwork at first but the packaging looks top quality. Well done getting these out. A ray of light in some bad times.
My Dance of the Clairvoyants single skips. Can’t see any scratches, took it straight from the package to my new turntable that’s only been used three times. Anyone else have issues?

I am truly loving this album. It's pretty much everything I hoped it would be. I love that most of the songs are close to 5 minutes. They experiment with sounds and let the songs breathe. And some real heartfelt and emotional moments. The first time I listened to Quick Escape on headphones I was actually punching the air. That song is going to be ridiculous live.

There's a great recent Bill Simmons podcast interview with Eddie and Jeff in which Simmons said how he was anxious to see how the new CD sounded and was more than happy. Eddie jumped on him (jokingly) for doubting. After the last two albums, I was the same as Simmons. Well, if playing new music over and over is a sign, I'm loving Gigaton! GREAT effort, boys! Except for Seven O'Clock and Retrograde (just my personal taste and they're not bad, just don't work as well for me), I'm loving every song. And standouts for me on first listen are Buckle Up and of course Quick Escape which is classic PJ ROCK for any era. Comes and Goes is deep emotion and as people have said there's plenty of hope in these disturbing times. Mahalos Ed, Mike, Jeff, Stone and Matt!

+1 to this. This album is a lot of fun to listen to and dissect the layers.
I don't think there's any way to get a physical copy in New Zealand. I suppose the 10C one might arrive by post but i doubt it. That's OK, I'll listen on Spotify etc.
Im in Australia and ordered from JB hi-fi I got an email today it's getting sent via Toll so I should get it tomorrow. If they can do that in Australia I'm sure you can get it in NZ. Good luck in tracking it down.
It's old news now but we are on full Level 4 lockdown, so only essential businesses were/are open. Even though I would argue this is essential, don't think the government would have agreed. Some people did get their orders from overseas though, the post is still working.
I logged on to see what the PJ Faithful were saying about the new album as I've given it at least a spin a day since dropping. It is SOOOO good as each and every one has been. I'm loving most of what Eddie laid down on it the most. The early favorites early releases are good and a few others are GREAT. It opens with an absolute kick ass EV written jam in Who Ever Said that has grown to be on of my top 5 on the album and better than both early releases. That said SBWM is an instant gym/workout necessity. I can't get enough of Comes Then Goes, which is arguably my favorite on the LP. Also digging Never Destination, Alright and Retrograde with excitement to hear QE live. Seven O'Clock is growing on me, but the best song on the record is River Cross. So much emotion, super heavy with the organ, and this song has been around. Me my wife and son were fortunate to be at Ohana Fest in 2017 and Eddie opened with River Cross and it was so fucking powerful live. I sure hope to God I get to see the band play this together in September this year, and even more importantly that the tour gets back on track sometime in 2020. Enjoy the album and see you at a future show!!! @dana26s.

This album sounds terrible on Spotify. I have got a better idea of how good this album is through YouTube on my Smart TV. Spotify Is so compressed... can’t hear all the subtleties. I can’t wait for my wax to finally arrive and truly hear this album.
