yanks whinge because they are yanks and yanks whinge about the sky being too blue and the sea being too cold and their arses being too fat to haul to maccas for their daily fat fix

sometimes i cant believe that the pj guys are actually yanks themselves

a better thread to start would be another top 100 reasons why - 'why pj need our appreciation'

hhmm - i probably need a chocci (happy) fix myself, but ill save it for sunday
    LOL!
I have to say....there are some GREAT Yanks on the pit....it's just a shame that the whingers out number them:(

    a pumpkin festival??
hope they made pumpkin scones - god i love them hot out of the oven with butter melted on top - heaven :D
One of the attractions, besides the giant pumpkin weigh off, is a comp for pumpkin recipes, where people enter stuff they've cooked with pumpkin in them.

Pumpkin scones are one of my favs too :D

its funny how towns have their little festival themes

we have Woofest - the big event at that is the Running of the Sheep down the mainstreet - a bit like the running of the bulls :D
we had Getaway come along and cover the last one

but is a good weekend - the town really goes off

Give them a try - easy peasy!

LMAO!! Woolfest - sounds hilarious....would love to see that! Does it attract many Kiwi tourists? ;)

We also have Log Chop in February and Winterfest (obviously) in Winter. It's good, except for all the terrorists :s Our camping grounds were already full by last night...which is over 3000 people....they friggen take over  We had some drama last night, haven't heard the latest, but we're assuming there were some fatalities :(
I'll be happy if the Easter break finishes with no bush fires!

awww - look you can all come and camp at my place this year - we can hit the pubs and make all the bands try and sing pearl jam, and get pissed and everyone will realise there are other people out there as strange as me ;)

its either that or the picnic races which are next month - good fun weekend too
