my vegimite is in the fridge too - isnt everyones???

and cereal to school - no i meant that they wouldnt surface out of their rooms untill lunchtime, then decide if they wanted breakfast or lunch, then live in front of the game tv for the rest of the afternoon. heh, riley has beated evenflow on expert, and got the topscore for it in eb games belconnen, and now figured out half of it on his own guitar :)

and jay went to school with bugs on his mobile to show his friends the band 'his mother is so crazy about' he thinks its a funny form of sarcasm, picking bugs. i told him he just doesnt understand eddies symbology...

jays in yr 8 this year - he lugged $50 worth of textbooks today, the other $30 worth goes tommorrow.

out of curiousity - anyone here ever lived up around coffs harbour instead of just breezing thru it once a year?? whats it like?
    impatience is a gift ........

heya all in aussie pj land again

anyone else glad school hols are finally over??? you know its time to boot them back to school when you fight over what breakfast cereal to eat for lunch :roll eyes:
i was feeling so happy i even drove them to school (cos 'my bag is sooo heavy with new books') .... in my pj's .... but hey, we only live five blocks away :)
and hey, those bags are bloody heavy - its a wonder all kids arent going for compo off dept of ed by the time they hit yr12

so - who's going to fill me in on all the essential happenings so i dont have to read a zillion pages???
LOL! Oh this cracked me up, Lindy!!
Our kids go back on the 4th......I love school holidays, but the boys are definitely ready to go back! They've driven me nuts the last couple of weeks - we haven't really gone out or anything and they're (understandably) really getting on each others nerves and just constantly arguing about anything and everything.
I'm certainly not looking forward to the EARLY mornings and the chaos that goes on before school every morning.......but it will be nice to get the house back to myself and back into some order!!
  • Vegemite in the fridge
I've never heard of this??? Must be and Eastern States thing??? :D
We (and everyone I know) keep it in the pantry.
  • Just got this in an e-mail and thought it might be some useful info; for you Brendan :D:D
If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1000 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have $49.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer/wine one year ago, drank all the beer/wine, then turned in the cans/bottles for the recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to Drink heavily and recycle.

I posted a pic of Ed's signature on the setlist on the autograph thread.
He PM'ed me and told me to name a price but not a ridiculous price like $1 billion :D

I replied by telling him it wasn't for sale, but asked what he would've been willing to pay for it if it was (just out of interest :) )
