    I went and saw Enchanted this afternoon.....I wanted to see Into the Wild but I guess it would not have been fair taking a fair of 10yr olds..LOL...
    Anyway with about 8 mins b4 the end my great niece goes....Auntie Suzanne I have to go to the toilet...........
    So I missed the bit where she ate the Apple that made her go to sleep but saw the bit when she woke up..LOL...

    Maddi would love it Kylie when shes a little older...It was a real little girlie movie....:)

    Glenns got the day off and said he wants to take me out for lunch and or dinner or do whatever I want.
    So....if it's a nice day I want to take the kids to the beach for a picnic :)
    Prolly sounds boring.....but I'll love it!!!

    Having said that.....we've got Thundery showers forecast - for the first time in months....so yeah....we'll see?

    So theres a thread in AET about Hard Rock Cafe.

    Seems there is a substantial amount of people who hate it!!

    Im not sure if I should step in and stick up for the place of not. There are comments about the food being shit, which in alot of Cafes in the states its eally not that great, so im not worried about that.
    They are also mentioning the prices.... being expensive of course, so im not worried about that, as we all know the shit isnt cheap.

    But I feel like defending the Brand.
    Every year we release 6 Tee's, designed by a particular artist, and the profits go to a certain charity. We also release pins and bears for this reason. Last year we raised enough money alongside the Global Angels Network to feed, home, clothe and school 300 + kids for a year.
    All the Memo is genuine and doesnt come cheap (although i have to admit, some of the "commemorative LP's" we have are crap)
    They bitched about the music.... yeah, cos everyone likes the same music so its easy:mad: Damn them, we are trying to be diverse for all ears (no dance thank god!!)

    We do so much to try to help others and the environment.
    I feel a little sad....

    But its ok.... how many times have a bagged Macca's!!

    :eek: Well, I've only been to Hard Rock in Surfers and I'm not just saying it because you work there, but both Glenn and I loved the place and everything in it!!! We were only saying the other night (when Sam was there ;) ) that we would spend a lot of time there if we lived over there.
    I haven't got time now, but I'll go onto that thread tomorrow and have my say, for sure......I can't defend all Hard Rocks....but I can say what I know about the Surfers Paradise Hard Rock!!

    I don't know enough about all the wonderful fundraising etc; that Hard Rock does, so I wouldn't like to say anything about that, in case I got it wrong....but I see no reason why you shouldn't point it out :)

    BUT.... I know what I know about where you work and I'd just like to let them know that whatever their experiences are at other Hard Rock's were, the Surfers HR couldn't be faulted :)
    and I mean it....I'm not being biased.
