aren't they the bites that turn into a creeping ulceration type of thing? GROSS!!!

Gawd....one thing I won't miss about living in the bush is all the snakes and creepy crawlies we get.

Most painful thing I've ever experienced is a scorpion sting! Worse than child birth
and worse than that is when one of your kids gets one. Theres nothing you can do except put up with the most excruciating pain for about 4 hours :(

Yeah....that's the worst bit....they're sneaky. We also have to be careful to make sure our bedding do esn't touch the ground at all. That's how I got stung the first time - I'd thrown the blankets back one night coz it was hot and a scorpion had climbed up into the bed and I must have desturbed it in my sleep and it stung me a few times :(

the simpsons movie was the biggest waste of 90 minutes, and $14 ever. if i didn't have no where else to be, as i was filling in time waiting for my wife, i woulda walk out of the cinema about 15 minutes in.

I'll let you know what Walk Hard is like tomorrow, i'm not expecting much, it looks pretty gay, i don't think it will even be worth it for the 30 seconds ed's in it for.

Haha! I wouldn't have paid to go see it, but we got the DVD for nothing and I enjoyed it :D I think the fact that the TV shows were starting to bore me helped....
    I wish they'd done a Futurama movie!

I haven't heard anyones opinion on Walk Hard???? So I'll be interested to see what you think......I can laugh at just about anything though, so I'd still like to see it even if you say it's crap.

Yeah we've had heaps of redbacks out lately, with the hot weather.....bigguns too  Steven had one bight him 4 times a few years ago. I shit myself......he was fine though....he had thought it was an ant biting him at first, til I ripped his shirt off and there was a redback there. So it didn't really hurt him and he didn't get sick either.....just had 4 big welts about as big as 50 cent pieces.

Don't you have funnel webs or something over there?
