Irving Plaza wasn’t 10c only. If you lined up at Tower Records at Broadway & 4th Street and were one of the first few hundred people to buy Avocado at midnight you’d get an Irving Plaza ticket along with your purchase. Though of course there were 10c members waiting in line to buy Avocado.Jed said:PearlJamPatriot said:

I remember that line. At least the weather was nice. I think it was 12 hours I waited and was able to score a ticket. Amazing to see a show in that small a venue.Yefa said:

That's true about the Tower Records purchase, but also, I got an email from 10Club saying that I could buy tickets because I was a 10C member who lived in a zip code close to Irving plaza. I knew a few people who got in that way without having to stand in the line.Yefa said:

I remember the first folks in line were there 4 or 5 days early and I stopped by the line to check up on it every few days. Good times!0

I remember being so annoyed that my zip code didn't qualify for that Irving Plaza show.Jed said:

If I recall correctly the first time they ever put a lottery drawing in place was for the Borgata shows - I was shut out of both. But then we were rewarded with the Philly 10.03.05 show which at that time, got the most 10c tix ever. That was a great night - that's when the feedback noise during Crazy Mary freaked Ed out.2003 Spectrum, Camden 2, Holmdel 2004 Reading, PA 2005 Philly 2006 Hartford, Camden 1&2, E. I think I won Santa Barbara 2003 as a lottery?0

Really? I didn't join 10c til 2003 so I don't know. Went to the Spectrum 4.28.03 show, Camden and Holmdel, and joined 10c the next day.Father Hubbard said:I think I won Santa Barbara 2003 as a lottery?

I'm really hoping the station managers need to get home to their SO's too. We should have this wrapped up by 5:30.tdawe said:Punching in for maybe the first hour. Unlike some of you terrible husbands I’m not going to spend all of my evening playing this dumb game.0
