No resale, at least in Phoenix

They are just putting a delay on accessing tickets. They will all be transferable but the charity ones might not.
edit: perhaps the first three shows are non-transferable but the rest will be.

Rage has taken an interesting approach.

They are holding back 10% of the tickets for seats from all areas at the venue

These tickets will be released periodically at a premium over face but less than what scalpers try to get. All monies over face plus fees go to charity.

Seems like a reasonable attempt to improve the market, protect fans and provide reasonable availability for last chance tickets. Unless stub hub is willing to take the restraint of trade approach, they might become a dinosaur to premium rock shows.

Edit, their charity prices are a little steep. But not as steep as others

  • Yeah, their charity tickets that were up at 11 yesterday were $650. Today the ones that didn't sell are $350. Is that really less than what a scalper would charge? Maybe for a large market, but not here in the Midwest.

Kind of glad that I'm out of town for those MSG Rage shows so I don't have to make any tough choices.

Plenty of SH MSG for well under $300 IIRC

Rage is definitely not PJ. Noone is when it comes to tickets. Not even Bruce. Not even The Stones.

Do I get a charity receipt with purchase? Or does RATM get the  tax benefit from my donation?

So you’re saying that eventually I will be able to buy/sell for this show on Stubhub? Because all the other shows are up on Stubhub. I wonder why this one is special?

Really appreciate RATM announcing 2 shows at MSG and putting me in a 'Fuck it, at least I am in' position when I was finally able to get in and buy absolute dog shit 200 level rear stage tickets for the Tuesday show like 10 minutes before they announced that 'Due to popular demand' a 3rd Thursday night show had been added.

I have no interest in going to 2 shows (one of which on a Tuesday night from horrible seats), nor in holding onto them for 6 months, so I just had to eat like $30 to dump them on Stubhub.

The comical notion that it was a spur of the moment 'due to overwhelming demand' is such bullshit. As if they didn't have them already scheduled. Sure.

Just announce what the damn shows are all at once so that people don't get stuck with tickets for a show they don't want or need.
'I know I was born and I know that I'll die, the in between is mine.'
