One of the best songwriters in the last 15 years, my favourite artist. Died 3 years ago tonight. Big loss :( Many, many fans miss him dearly

wow, that would be one hell of a treat. Was it an acoustic show or full electric band ?

  • I saw Elliott here in England 5 years ago maybe...it was probably the most honest live performance I've ever seen. He was just so funny. He'd start playing a song and then suddenly stop saying 'Sorry, I don't like playing this one, let's try another' or stop the band because he'd forgotten how the tune went. It was a genius performance, everybody loved it. A true inspiration. I can now spot a bullshitter from row ZZZ.
  • RIP Elliott

    A true genius
die on a hilltop.. eyeing the crows,
waiting for your lids to close..
but you want to watch as they peck your flesh..
Ironic that they go for the eyes first

    Bump.
Just discovered his stuff. got some serious depth.
I'm late to the party...as always.
Maybe in the same musical realm as joseph arthur. Can hear the pain.

His stuff was all creative as hell and "Needle in the Hay",  what a phenomenal song.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
