Shit they're mad bastards!Oz Jammer wrote:They tried ANOTHER stunt today
They made a limo out of cardboard, put it over their heads, and walked 'inside' the limo up to the checkpoint. They didn't get let in today though
They're on bail...ya'd think that'd be a huge no-no!

I really do feel sorry for the Kiwi's. People in Aus claim the New Zealanders, and the rest of the world all think they belong to us!!

Bumbershoot: Vedder Joins Crowded House, Shins Do Floyd
Crowded House
September 02, 2007, 3:00 AM ET
Jonathan Cohen, Seattle
A surprise appearance by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder during Crowded House's set helped kick off the 2007 Bumbershoot festival yesterday (Sept. 1) at Seattle's Memorial Stadium. Vedder traded vocals with Crowded House frontman Neil Finn during "World Where You Live" and then chipped in on guitar for "Something So Strong."
Earlier, the reunited Australian rock act offered up favorites such as "Distant Sun," "Weather With You," "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Locked Out" under beautiful sunny skies, with the crowd singing loudly during the piano-only finish of "Fall At Your Feet."
The Shins were next on the Memorial Stadium stage, bopping through a set drawn evenly from its three albums for hometown label Sub Pop. Highlights included "Kissing the Lipless," "Turn On Me" (preceded by a brief tease of the bass line from Jane's Addiction's "Three Days") and "New Slang," but the most surprising detour was a "trip back to middle school" for a spot-on cover of Pink Floyd's "Breathe."
The first day of Bumbershoot also boasted noteworthy sets from Gogol Bordello, Magnolia Electric Company, the Avett Brothers and Menomena, the latter of whom were joined by a nearly 20-strong choir decked out in monks' robes. The Avetts were unrelenting in their energy and their infectious upright bass/banjo/acoustic guitar ditties ("Wanted Man," "Talk of Indolence") got the crowd up and moving.
Panic! At The Disco closed the day at Memorial Stadium with a theatrical set featuring hits like "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage."
Bumbershoot continues today with Fergie, Kings Of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and reunited local band Seaweed.he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -
