    Being from Chicago I grew up idolizing MJ, but I always respected Kobe’s game and loved watching him play. Hard to argue his talent. Such sad news.

    He played high school basketball outside philly which was pretty Cool.  When he came I to the league I wasn’t a huge fan of him though mainly cause he didn’t really consider philly his hometown. Later on i gradually grew to respect him.

    Seems like mixed reporting. Might take time to get the facts. I sure hope the initial report was wrong.

    What a tragic loss for his family. So crazy. I was never a huge basketball fan, but I still remember the hype when he joined the league my senior year of high school and watching him play those early years in the league.
    It's a hopeless situation...
