Anybody know if TM sets aside tickets for the General Public Onsale? Try this all again tomorrow - don't care where I sit as long as I'm in the building.

Man...that Quebec availability is heartbreaking. Should've been Montreal.

    Or Augusta, ME...
Or literally anywhere in the northeast.
    I'm nodding.

I'm checking my globe (smart ass, i had to)

  • I sat through the queue, entered my code successfully, successfully chose my 3 seats, and was waiting to secure my tickets for 45 minuets. I finally got an error message, and then was shut out - after my code was accepted and I had selected seats.  I tried to log back in, and I was shut out.  This is total BS. Anyone else have trouble?

Yes I did not wait that long but it happened to me over and over again in an endless loop.

Look at all these wonderful “Verified Fans” just re-selling at massive profit. All the behind stage was VF. Also Pearl Jam is on the front page of Stubhub.

TM will be able to tell if the account does not utilize their tickets and the likely-hood of them every getting re-verified is slim to none. They are able to track those tickets on the open market...so be careful if you are a flipper.

At least we arent seeing any tickets other than NYC and Denver on stubhub.  That in and of itself is pretty impressive.  The other shows arent even listed.

At least if they are on stubhub you can get in. This is worse IMO.
  • There were 2,000 people on line ahead of me for the MSG show. Only behind the stage were available. I missed out on two lower level initially. But even though the seating chart only showed singles available at the lower level when I scrolled down under the best seats available, I was able to get a pair in section 112. I had sat behind the stage before when Ten Club limited 1 show per venue in the past and for the Temple of the Dog show.

The verified fan presale thing has only worked out for me once in the last few years. I have used it several times now. I never get my hopes up. I actually have better luck in the public sale.

If they really wanted to stop the scalping all they have to do is look who bought what is listed and cancel the orders.  They don’t. They don’t care

I could see some decent options when I first got in for Nashville but could never get the splash screen about non-transferable tickets to go away...all I could do was watch in the background as everything got snapped up. Was trying to get a pair for a couple friends...no dice, I guess.

Someone already said this (sorry can't find the post in the avalanche from this morning) but we really should appreciate how awesome it is that this band still generates this kind of demand. I know it's frustrating when you get shut out, but the crazy demand contributes to what makes these shows so amazing. Everybody wants their favorite band to be at a precise level of popularity where they can sell exactly enough seats to fill the local venue but nobody gets shut out and everyone at the show is still losing their minds with enthusiasm, but shit doesn't work that way.
