Is it hard to go from san fran to Oakland?
    no
Thanks.  Easy cab ride over I'm assuming, any areas to stay away in san fran?
    No cab....BART..
  • Is the fall just rumors at this point for the US, or is there some real smoke behind it?  Asking cause I am trying to plan out how many shows to hit on this go round.

Is anyone familiar with the arena in Baltimore?  I was curious if there are parking lots for tailgaiting.  I will be coming from Philly with a small crew looking to hang.
It is a downtown arena. There are parking garages nearby but I'm guessing that "tailgating" will be frowned upon.
Camden Yards is only half a mile away, that would probably be the closest tailgate friendly parking
There’s areas near Raven’s stadium as well for tailgating.

So pumped for this. Going to Baltimore and maybe NYC. Booked that refundable rate at the Radisson in Baltimore. I love that Baltimore might be the first show after the album is released if that rumored 3/27 date is correct. Has anyone been to that arena? Pictures online make it seem fairly small...Reminds me of the arena in Moline. Should be sick!
It is pretty small compared to other arenas (11,000 - 14,000 capacity).  The show there in 13 was awesome.
Agreed! I remember Eddie commenting halfway through the Sunday show that it felt like a Saturday night.
The less you know, the more you believe.

Yeah like he said, it’s across the bay, so no cab but Bart goes right there.  Easy peasy.  I’m staying in sf and going back and forth, it’s not hard.  I’d recommend staying out of the tenderloin (not dangerous but not a nice place to stay).  North end, nob hill, financial downtown area, Russian hill, are all fine

and if you stay near mission street your walk to the bart station is minutes
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

I've been a fan of Pearl Jam for 20 years now. I'm now 32. Never have I been able to afford a ticket to see them live. Just always struggled to make it happen. Finally at 32 I'm at a point I can make it happen. I'll be traveling to the closest city once the tour is announced. Words can not even describe how excited I am for this announcement. I feel like I'm coming home!

good first post!!! See you out there ;)
    +1
It's worth the wait;) Props...hope you score tix to your show of choice :sunglasses:

booked the Radisson inner harbor for $139.  right across the street from the arena
    Marquee 91
    Wetlands 91
    CBGB 91
    Roseland 91
    and many, many more
  • And Nashville confirmed for 4-2
  • Thinking of doing Nashville, Denver, Phoenix. Have family in Nashville so an excuse to see them and have a place to stay. Live in Colorado and lived in Phoenix. In 2013 and 14 had no problems just getting Denver and Phoenix tickets (Denver seats were good, Phoenix OK). With little experience doing the Ten Club other than the stadium shows two years ago, which ended up being easy, anyone have ideas for weighing pluses and minuses of each versus just trying to buy tickets? Probably would get a Denver presale or two also.

Where are these getting confirmed? Arena, brokers, radio?

Seems a bit wacky to book hotels before securing tickets.  How is everyone so confident they will get tickets?  I mean, these aren't stadium shows where you were basically guaranteed a seat.  Or, will you simply pay double or triple on stub hub as a last resort?

Been a lurker for years on this site and read every single post on this thread and it's parent thread that started in 2018.  Been fun tracking the Greek Ghosts' clues, Dimi, THANK YOU so much, you gave us hope when we'd get down.  Loving the passion you all have, enjoy it, and made the odds forever be in your favor!

If you book a hotel right you can cancel 24 hours in advance. No risk.
