    Does anyone know how long these were up? The coolest part is you could have walked by it for weeks without having any idea it was Pearl Jam related.

    This marketing strategy is also a useful way to collect data on fans/consumers. For instance, way back when, having fans buy a membership provided the club information provided by their credit cards pertaining to name/address. This bit allows the fan club to track the location and number of fans which may not be accessing the ten club, thereby providing personal location... Call me paranoid.

    Good point.  For instance, I pointed my Nokia flip phone at the billboard and it exploded.  Now they know that- not only is my sweater flammable- but I’m obviously going to need a new phone as well..

    Loved this, I didn't bother either.  If I had the time, maybe.  I'll just wait for the new music and tour announcements.  I did hear a title of one of the songs today which intrigued me, I believe it will be the first single.  Not 100% sure so don't want to spread rumors.  
    Don't come closer or I'll have to go

     Interesting insight.  11 days until album release?  That would be a cool way to roll...or 11 ‘lens’ reveals of song snippets...also could be enticing.  Me, I love the code stuff.  So much better than just plopping the album down.  Makes us work for it and put some thought into something the band obviously put a lot of thought into

    I thought this was awesome intrigue to whet our appetite. Yeah I’m in my 40s and didn’t quite understand what an Instagram lens filter is but I read up and appreciated the community here sharing the details. Excitement building!!

    For giggles -- when I clicked on the New York flame/Google Map, I saw the Five Guys on the corner and thought, "Oh, look, there's five guys in Pearl Jam." That's as far as I got myself.
