Saying that, let's also agree if no announcement this week that would be the shortest notice of a tour in a long time.

Some of the rumored cities are not lock down sell outs, based on history. Not that I dont think this tour wont 100% sell out. It should.

Since the promoter would be shelling out close to $10 million up front to PJ (or on the hook for it), it's in Live Nations best interests to get the announcement and presales rolling and promoted asap if this is indeed real. Somebody please cue the DimiBatSignal.

    Loved the final episode.
Agreed. It was an ending with total integrity - a show that baffled if you wanted events to be real-world logical, but was really all about the characters. The end summed that up so perfectly - live or die, the whole point was the way connections defined these people.

They should wait longer if you ask me. Closer to the show date the better chance for local ten club members to get tickets to their local shows. Knocks out a lot people for traveling.

Leftovers was a great series and had a great finale for Lindelof. Check that out if you have not seen it.

Sure it helps local fans, but we are getting to a very short window between ticket on sales and performances.

The promoter usually guarantees a big chunk of change and wants to make sure every ticket is sold. Seems silly for easy sellouts like PJ, but you never know.

Plus they have to make sure logistics and staffing is all accounted for, etc. Lots of behind the scenes work.

It can all be worked out. It’s not that big a deal. Plus in this day of dynamic pricing it would be fine

  • A little bit in advance, but how do golden circle tickets work? Are they available for every show, and are they 10c only or for the general public too?

For U.S. shows, the general admission area is typically 100% Ten Club members.    There is no golden circle like for some shows in Europe as there is only one GA section for U.S. shows and it is all Ten Club to begin with.  You will have to win the 10c lottery to get GA tickets, or buy an extra from someone.   No public sale.

Only 10 Club gets the GA tickets for NA's traditional arena shows unless there is reserved up front like Fenway or if they announce a show after the draw like Toronto night 2 2016 or Amsterdam this year. It is different than Europe where in Europe the general public can get in the front pit too but 10 Club gets early access to it there.

The 10th falls on a Friday this month. In the newsletter they will tease an announcement for Monday the 13th so they can get a bunch of outsiders to join the 10c over the weekend before the Sunday midnight cutoff.

By outsiders you must mean spouses and children of members.
