Specifically, what exactly does that mean? My profile shows me as a legacy member since 1996, but I know for a fact I joined in late ‘94 (I got the Christmas single so I know I’m not just imaging that, and my number hasn’t changed). It also shows start/end dates throughout the years but it always has my legacy membership starting in 10/96. Did they switch to a new system then or something?
10C explained every time they upgraded their database server previous history was lost.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

I think Legacy means the old single one fee option (opposed when they split digital/analog).  My history shows all mine being legacy until I started paying $50

  • I have to agree with the original post here, I just went and checked my membership date and it is three years after I sent my first check for $5.00 to the Ten Club but back then the Ten Club was not as sophisticated as it is now but the Ten Club truly ROCKS! For so many years I would renew late and I will never forget the year they told me if I didn't renew on time I would lose my seniority.  I was devastated and never went late again (back when I'd just call them!) lol that seniority got me into the pit sooo many times.  I will be 60 next month and there were already 62,755 Ten Club members before me!  I took my daughter to her first PJ concert and we've always gone together since, she's now 36, she was 13 then!  PJ is my Legacy!!

  • Mine originally says late January, then switches to a couple days later.

I can't remember if I used a few days of a grace period to try to extend the membership or not. Maybe I did.

Mine says legacy starting 10/1996 but I joined in 94 so it must be something they started doing.
    who knows the relevance
Same boat. Just out of curiosity, what’s your number? We joined around the same time, I’m in the 92’s.

Lol !!!  Yeah, with a number that high you're probably always eating spares. Way to step up and help out @WesC
