I’m digging that BBQ post above.   Curious what state you would recommend.

Oh how I wish I didn't move away from Ontario.
     That was rookie mistake!!
Definitely a long term drawback, for sure.
My move coincided quite nicely with the Seattle 2018 shows but I knew this day would come when they'd (eventually) announce a bunch of Toronto area shows and I'd be pining for the ACC (er, Scotia Bank Arena) and other nearby venues.

Both the Toronto 2016 and Seattle 2018 Facebook groups got renamed in the last few days to remove the years. Coincidence?  Think not but that could be wishful thinking...
Man, I hope you're right about this. It'd be great to get down to Seattle for a show.

Arena tour in spring? Then stadiums in fall?

kinda hoping for my wallets sake that USA is after Europe
     your wallet is fucked.
Even before Europe  :o So it should be before June (First Concert June 23rd in Germany). Guess that they will have a break in between. So US Tour might start in less than 4-5 months!
  • Iowa is LONG overdue for a show... Anywhere in Iowa  =)

Would be worse if we would live in Europe as most there seem to have been able to secure tickets for the shows they applied for. For US/Canada tours, you're lucky if you get one even if you apply for five.

I am no super genius who knows the stuff, but Coachella announces their lineup in early-early January. I saw Arcade Fire once in Vegas during the week in between Coachella weekends, so use that as you will. Not sure if there are territorial restrictions blocking an LA show. Again, I know nothing other than Coachella needs something to move the needle and I am certain the Gallagher Brothers are still not speaking to each other.
    A. PJ is not playing Coachella. They don't attract a young enough, hip enough, millenial type demographic.
    B. Coachella has unusually tough geographic restrictions. So a Vegas show in between for any headliner is not likely. Possible but not likely.
    C. I don't  have my outfit picked out yet for next year.

Those millennials are still buzzing about GNR, Radiohead  and AC/DC? GNR played a few shows at the T-Mobile arena in Vegas just before Coachella in 2016.

I'm thinking Rage Against the Machine will be their main "rock" act this year

ordinarily I agree regarding Coachella, but wondering if RATM puts a new spin on that  ...
