    Here's a thought, should the Republicans really be against impeachment? If you were a Republican lawmaker, wouldn't the idea of Mike Pence replacing Trump be sort of enticing? Pence is just another Republican. Like Romney or Bush or whoever. Seems like he'd be way easier to work with if you're a Republican. The GOP as a slim lead on the Dems as far as governorships and Senators go. Do they think Trump is the key to maintaining/extending those leads? Because if he's not, what's the fucking the point of him?

    Well at this rate, a Senate impeachment trial probably wouldn't occur until after the 2020 election anyway. So if "Buffoon" was reelected, you'd think that's when the Republicans would be willing to part with him. Not publicly because Trump has them all nurtured. But in their own heads. 

    It's all hypothetical anyway because they'll never get a 2/3 vote in the Senate. I support impeachment for the political theater and the shit show it'll be. This forum will be hilarious during it. But he won't be removed and like many have said, it may even help his reelection effort.

    I think it’s quite meaningful. You have to ask, what are they hiding? If John Boy Bolton doesn’t testify, it adds to the obstruction allegation and if he does, and explains what he meant by “drug deal,” it could ratchet up the pressure on the repub senators.
