    Perfect.
thinking it’ll be an hour and a half show (?)
  • There are lots of good pro shot shows on YouTube that were previously live streamed.

Great idea to find timing. Thanks.
Excellent show last night. The way he tells a story in his lyrics reminds me of Bruce. Top notch.

I'd say Southeastern. His best album in my opinion and very representative of his sound.

Edit: Christ, I cannot believe that record is already 6 years old

It’s all good. Might as well start from beginning and work your way through. He was with Drive by Truckers for awhile and that’s just as good.

Finally got the ST vinyl rerelease on red vinyl. Great pressing, I know Cobb remixed it, and it does sound different, I think. Don’t have the OG vinyl tho so I’ll have to listen again to my digital to compare.

Got the yellow Here We Rest as well even tho I do have the OG. Good stuff all around.

My copy of S/T arrived today as well. Always nice to have a pre-order arrive before the street date.

Got these on Monday and they sound great. Cobb made the mix on s/t a bit more nuanced rather than the wall of sound on the OP. Weird vocal effect on isbell through.

You stated this perfectly. That's what I couldn't articulate ha! I don't know though, I may like the original mix better. Unfortunately I don't have the original press.

Happy to have both, even though I now have 2 copies of Here We Rest.
