I agree. Not a fan, but feel bad for him to have this detail his dream. I wish a speedy recovery.

This is his chance to help the Dems and help control the nomination if not the election. If Bernie decides to drop out and throw his support to say... Warren...things get very interesting.
    I think that’s exactly what’s happening.
Would Bernie supporters first choice be warren? Is she the next most progressive candidate?
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

I would think so. At least a larger percentage would favor Warren at this point. I know there is older polling that suggests Biden had the advantage, but momentum has changed towards Warren. Just my guess.

For Bernie, I can imagine that his heart breaking has been heart-breaking (sorry, I had to).

The one silver lining is that he's got a very noble way to excuse himself that wouldn't harm anyone in the DNC, and if he gives his support to Warren, she will inherit a healthy percentage of his current voting cohort easily and I think will be in the technical 'front-runner' position within a week. Emboldened by the obviousness of Trump's disgraceful actions, I think DNC voters will feel they can take a larger risk on a person more progressive than they might have accepted otherwise. If this does happen (a lot of presumptions here) my one fear is that Warren tries to shift to be more acceptable to centrists (which I truly hope she doesn't do - her authenticity and focus and clarity and consistency have all been great assets for her campaign), and outrages Sanders' fans to repeat the sentiment issued towards Clinton in '16.

If that happens he’ll be accused of faking it about four seconds later.

I would hope (but doubt) that he’ll lay low and back the winner of the nomination, even if it is Biden.

I got a Bernie sign in my window, and I like Pete and Kamala.

Elizabeth Warren is still going to be a fine Senator and trusted ally.   So is Cory Booker.  rev up Beto against John Cornyn who is at least 85 years old and has terrible policy ideas.  Concentrate on the Senate.  Flip Kentucky already.

Yeah, I don’t think O’Rourke stands a chance at dethroning Cornyn.  He is now a joke in TX.

Why do you have to make it about me, “bro”?  Beto is a dumbass, just stating the obvious.

Getting into the cold analytics,  Warren is having a pretty good week as the field begins to clear.  Bernie needs to take a step back for himself.  Joe has to fend off unfair allegations.  Pete could come out a winner too if he can somehow coalesce some moderates unsure about Liz.
Bernie stepped back, though not by choice I presume.  Hospitalized for a blocked artery?
    Two stents. Pretty serious stuff

It's a minor procedure. The stents are inserted into the wrist and travel to the arteries. He should be back campaigning in a week.

If Warren is about to become the frontrunner candidates better start attacking her policies.

Since trump made warren look foolish last year, noone has tried to land a punch on her

Unlike Biden, who has been pounded from numerous Democrats as well as trump

It's almost like Democrats are trying to lose by elevating an untested candidate and constantly attacking their frontrunner

The procedure is minor but symptoms are serious.
Biden had taken a beating for sure, from both sides.
