The Biden ordeal is much easier to understand than the Russia investigation. It also doesn't have the special prosecutor with the AG changing/suppressing results. Last, it is timely. I think there should be a window on receiving the whistleblower complaint, and then start the impeachment inquiry. My guess is this issue damages Trump pretty badly.

It should but I'm kind of numb to it. I can't remember how many times I've thought "ok this is the one that the GOP will abandon him for" and it just doesn't happen.

I watched the Sunday shows (MTP, This Week, etc.) and about shit when Pompeo and Mnuchin both diverted questions about Ukraine to "I think we should be looking at what Biden did there", etc. Fucking unreal.

Just curious, what happens if he gets impeached? Does it move to the senate? Why not impeach him in the house and have the senate debate it? Put the pressure on Republican majority in the senate to defend this traitor.

it goes to the house to vote and then the senate for trial. this is why many don't want to bother, cause the republican controlled senate will never convict, and many believe will embolden his base and garner new support among undecideds as presidential harassment.

I’m split on who it would help. Some say dems loose if they don’t impeach.
I say impeach now, pass it to the senate. No dithering, just impeach this week.

It would take awhile to investigate...which would be perfect timing for 2020 election. Pelosi is worried that it will give tRump a victory if it gets to the Senate and they don't convict. But if the evidence is there then the GOP Senators will have to explain why they didn't vote to convict.

It would be abuse of power related to Ukraine plus other lesser charges (Mueller report items) that on their own might not be impeachable offenses but as a whole are significant.

I wouldn’t classify illegal campaign contributions, obstruction of justice and violations of the emoluments clause as insignificant on their own.

If Mitch thinks it's to his advantage, they will hold the trial immediately. If not, then they will stall. There's no question on the outcome, as 2/3 is needed to convict. It would almost be to the Dems advantage to slow walk the process to the Senate. In other words, impeach but not hand over the inquiry for the trial. I don't know if that's allowable or not. But that's what I would do. Let the House impeachment process be the highlight, not the trial.

Mueller should have hammered him. He blew it. Fucking Obama blew it by not getting Garland on to SCOTUS in a recess appt. I'm so pissed off at the dems I can't stand it.

A recess appointment would have only been temporary, a year max I believe. After Trump won the election, Garland would have been out either way.

The House should have rolled out a new article of impeachment one for every separate incident (obstruction, emoluments, nepotism, the Fascism, riling people up at rallies, the kids at the border, the nonstop LIES, the repeating of the nonstop LIES, the electoral crimes, the environmental shit, on and on...honestly it's mostly the OBSTRUCTION and the dictator-y shit) EVERY goddamn day of this session. The DEMS have a MAJORITY. He won the electoral college and is a fraud. He's the worst president ever, he's absolutely terrible at his job.

Moscow Mitch can do whatever he wants to do, take it up or stall. Either way he LOSES. History will not be kind to him.
