    Can I ask a dumb question? Ok, that’s a dumb question too so I’ll ask two. What effect does Brexit have on the world? And since I’m an ignorant and selfish American, what do I care about it anyways. Besides the PM and Trump sharing horrible hair styles.

    Oh yeah.  That fellow is just entertaining.  I have really come to like British politics as I watched Brexit unfold.  I like how close they sit across from each.  And some of those insults they throw at each other are funny.  Trump would never survive in a Parliamentary system.  He would leave in tears.

    I love your answer.  I agree.  No one knows.  What is the problem?  Is it the money that the UK gives to the EU?  I have read some article that state some in the UK do not like that the EU helps pooer EU financially to improve their lifestyles, to mitigate migration.  If that is true, I think that is money well spent.  Help the entire country in the EU, not the few who manage to get to a wealthier country.  But who knows.  Looks like it will not happen.

    It seems to somewhat parallel the US. The rural folk feel unrepresented and don't understand how being in the EU helps them paired with the immigrants crisis; while the urban folk think they need the EU to be financially and globally sound/significant. If it is a money issue, I wonder how much more of their tax money has been wasted figuring out how to leave the EU vs just staying in.
