is PTI and Around the Horn still on? Haven't seen it in awhile
Yes, and I enjoy those shows.

Around the Horn is heavily favored by statistics which is funny to hear some of them spouting them out like they actually understand them...

I feel like mina kimes just reads stats.
If I had known then what I know now...

I like them. They weren't on last week though, other programs were on instead.
MacMullan, Ryan, Jones and Paige are all great.  There are quite a few I can't stand, Pablo and Spain are two of them.

I think you should rephrase that. He’s one of the best things about ESPN, but he’s still a borderline insufferable douche.

To hell with that.  It was the equivalent to Meet the Press, which was a dignified means toward opinionated commentary.  Now it’s all idiots like Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd who just try to put out opinions louder and dumber just so they can get listeners worked up to bump ratings.

I don’t disagree. As with everything espn, awesome in the beginning. He became a hack during it. Became what you describe at the end

Lupica May have became a hack but most of the sports media are loudmouth shock jocks now.  All of these debate shows are terrible programming, which started from transitioning “Cold Pizza” into “First Take” and now you have so many other brain dead shows out there.

Also RIP to John Saunders.  He did an outstanding job of taking over for Dick Schaap on The Sports Reporters.  I literally got emotional while watching the last episode.

John Saunders was a Pros-Pro, just like Bob Ley was. Both now gone(YES RIP to John Saunders & Bob Ley Retired) Who at ESPN even come close to those 2?

I agree that John Saunders did a excellent job filling in for Dick Schaap.

I think ESPN needs to run The Ocho for another month.  Pizza box folding competitions and dodgeball is more entertaining then talking heads speculating about what Tom Brady’s favorite color is and if it had an impact on his decision to go to Tampa.
