In ‘Murica, socialists are worse than sexual assaultors. Just ask BS.Spiritual_Chaos said:
Just like Trump is getting away with being a sexual assaulter. I think Bernie would get away with being called a socialist - because he could say "add democratic before that - AND WE ARE THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHO DOESN'T GUARANTEE HEALTH CARE TO ITS PEOPLE."Halifax2TheMax said:
Easily said but harder to stick to some candidates. My retort to Tesm Trump Treason would be, “you’re a sexual assaulting, racist, white nationalist, obstructor of justice, treasonous traitor.” So there.Spiritual_Chaos said:

But Bernie and Warren are way more easily painted with such a brush and having it apply to them.dignin said:
They're going to do that with all of them.Halifax2TheMax said:
Bernie will be painted and perceived as a hard core socialist. Team Trump Treason wins.Hi! said:I think Bernie could cut into Trumps deplorables for a few reasons.
1.) Good shit talker. He will do well against Trump in debates
2.)His hair.
3.)Populist
4.) Weed. Lots of people who know nothing about politics and would never vote dem, like Bernie and they associate Bernie with legalization.
Just some random thoughts.🤪
So I don't know if it would be tougher for him than lets say Harris who would spend her time being all "I am not a socialt" "OH YES YOU ARE!" "No, im not. I promise I am not. I love capitalism"
My feeling.

That would be correct. I still do not believe that minimum wage should be $15 an hour. And how is that even a living wage?Spiritual_Chaos said:

A good idea is worthless if the conditions aren’t right for it to exist/thrive within (both when you say it and when Bernie says it). If you want to add value, I’d be curious to hear from you about what changes and system reforms the US requires to get to the point where they can offer free Insulin like in Sweden. Unless I’m mistaken, I haven’t seen these details logically provided by Sanders or Warren (and my apologies if I’m mistaken).Spiritual_Chaos said:

All live-saving medicines should be free for those who can not afford. It's called being compassionate. But for a US drug company to sell it for 300/vial is just greed, pure greed...Give Peas A Chance…0

That’s about what me and my “wife” make hourly. I work about 20+ hours bi weekly and have some health and other benefits. It’s doable in my area, but can be tough, especially with kids.If it wasn’t for my ot it would be much harder and if I was smarter with my money it would very doable, but I’m a moron , and I like to make things harder on myself, lol. We were also fortunate to get a house on the cheap during the recession when everyone was getting foreclosed on. I think in certain areas $15 makes sense, but maybe not in others. We have Medicaid in this country for the poor. I don't know who or where these vials would cost 300, but it wouldn't be for the poor. I'd love more real details on this. My guess is this either the price for someone who has chosen not to buy insurance I'm Obamacare or someone where that 300 is part of the insurance co pay/ co insurance that must be met before payouts in many employer plans. For example. im responsible for the first 2k of medical then everything is basically free after that.Meltdown99 said:All live-saving medicines should be free for those who can not afford. Do you think Eddie believes that people working full time in the service industry in the US (as in a fast food restaurant) should earn a livable wage?Hi! said:

Former Vice President Joe Biden and independent Senator Bernie Sanders, both currently competing for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, would trounce Trump by eight points in the popular vote, according to the poll.
Biden and Sanders earned the support of 50 percent of U.S. registered voters, SurveyUSA found, while Trump lagged behind at 42-percent support.
The poll was conducted over the first five days of August, just after the Democratic Party's second presidential debates in Detroit, Michigan.
Candidates such as senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris edged out Trump in potential runoffs, but their leads weren't wide enough to overcome the margin of error. South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg was measured at 42 percent, two points behind Trump in a potential matchup.
Among critical demographics within the electorate that were responsible for massive Democratic gains during the 2018 midterms, Trump's opponents appear to be decisively prevailing.
Biden leads Trump by 24 points among suburban women, and the other candidates measured all lead in this same demographic by over 10 points.
Sanders comes out atop the Democratic pack among Independent voters, who prefer him to Trump by 10 points. Biden is the only other candidate preferred to Trump by Independents.

Yes. I believe most candidates support some sort of minimum wage increase. I wonder what that would mean for people like myself who make that already. Will may pay go up? Not much I bet. In fact it would probably make it harder for me to get a raise. I also worry about how that would inflate prices on goods and services. Seems it’s going to make things more expensive. I feel like tackling healthcare costs for middle class and lower middle class, or people just above the qualifying line for Medicaid or Medicare, would be a more appropriate policy to bring forward as it relates to economic security. I am not so much worried about accessibility as I am affordability.Spiritual_Chaos said:
