Every time I read about Greta Thunberg, it reminds me how much my kids suck.

Stop reading about Greta. Or come up with your very own Scared Straight regimen.

    it’s all in the parenting.

or, at least, half the parenting.

I know, right. Her mom just keeps aiding and abetting the suck.

Case in point: my daughter woke me up, asking me what she should write on her global climate strike sign. I told her to leave me the fuck alone and that if she didn’t know what to write on her goddamn sign, then perhaps this wasn’t her social issue.

I mean, if she really cared, she’d know exactly what to write. And that would be awesome.

    Anyway, guess who helped her....

I guess pretending to care is better than not caring at all. :i_dunno:

I still haven’t even looked at her sign. Why would I reward such halfassery with any attention?

I think I’m more of a catapult parent than a helicopter parent. (Child, if you brought your brain with you, then we may speak. If not, go bother someone else.)

How dark do you take your tea? I like to let my bags steep for a good while, dunking and agitating until I hit it with the cream.
