Fighter jets are cool. The original Top Gun is in fact kinda dumb and deeply flawed in a number of ways, BUT...it's still one of my favorite movies ever. If its on some random channel, I'm watching it. Even if there's only 10 minutes left, I'm watching it. That, and fighter jets are fn cool! Did I mention that?

Usually when they show classics it's on 35 mm but i think this one was on DCP.

You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
But watched it with my mom not long ago when it was on the TV. She knew all the scenes by heart.
DId you know this ad for the greatest car in the world SAAB is what made them think of Tony Scott as director?
So thank SAAB the next time you watch Top Gun.
