lol.  Who's got 5 free tickets for me?!  This is gonna cost me big bucks.  Two nights ago we went to a Trenton thunder game and sat 3 rows behind the dugout...I hate to break it to them but we aren't sitting that close at a yankees game! lol
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

Wish they would have gotten one of the last two buuut, what a start to the season.

16-4 in their last 20, 6.5 games up in the division, the best record in the AL, second best in the whole game and on 105 win pace at the break.  Not too shabby.

Get a starter and go win the whole damn thing

He wasn’t fooled at all. Laid off those sliders and had a couple decent swings at the fastballs

According to the YES Network, d'arnaud is just the fourth player to hit a leadoff home run and a walk-off home run (7/6 off Chad Green) vs. the Yankees in
the same season (also Oakland’s Rickey Henderson in 1993; Washington-AL’s Bob Allison in 1960 and Philadelphia-AL’s Max Bishop in 1932).

I might be crazy, but I was thinking about making the drive from VA. Never been to one, and had plenty opportunities to go when I lived up there. Now I live much further South, but I feel like I can't miss Mariano's. On the fence. Long-ass drive

Read the Yankees have the best record in baseball against teams with a winning record. I like that for the playoffs.

Ctown is a pretty special place.  Get a room at the swanky hotel by the water.

The Otesaga. Been to a wedding and stayed there one other time. It’s sweet, also where the actual hall of famers stay so there’s no getting in there for that weekend, or most of the summer for that matter

Report: Yankees' Chapman '1 million percent' opting out of contract

NEW YORK NEW YORK - JULY 15 Aroldis Chapman 54 of the New York Yankees reacts after giving up a three-run home run to Travis dArnaud 37 of the Tampa Bay Rays in the ninth inning at Yankee Stadium on July 15 2019 in New York City

It appears this season could be Aroldis Chapman's last with the New York Yankees.

The perennial All-Star closer is "1 million percent" going to opt out of his contract at the end of the season, a player who's friendly with Chapman told Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Chapman is set to make $30 million over the final two seasons of his five-year, $86-million pact.

Opting out of his current deal could be risky, as the best available reliever during the last free-agency period - Craig Kimbrel - signed a three-year, $43-million contract in June after no longer being tied to draft-pick compensation, Rosenthal notes.

The 31-year-old would likely be the most coveted reliever on the market if he enters free agency, as Dellin Betances and Arodys Vizcaino will be coming off major injuries. Fellow closers Sean Doolittle (club option) and Kenley Jansen (opt-out) could also be looking for new contracts.

Chapman is putting together another terrific season, posting a 2.09 FIP while going 25-for-29 in saves opportunities for the American League East-leading Yankees. The left-hander owns a career 14.9 K/9 rate.
