I think this story has enough potential for its own thread. While we're waiting to find out who all the disgusting pigs on the list are, how about an Onion article?
Frustrated Subway Marketers Scrap $150 Million Jeffrey Epstein Ad Campaign
MILFORD, CT—Bemoaning the tremendous loss of time and resources,
frustrated executives at the Subway restaurant chain have scrapped a
$150 million advertising campaign featuring Jeffrey Epstein, company
officials confirmed Tuesday. “Goddammit, we were just gearing up to
launch Jeffrey Epstein as the new face of Subway, and now all that work
has gone down the toilet,” said chief brand and innovation officer Len
Van Popering, explaining that sex-trafficking charges filed against
Epstein yesterday had derailed Subway’s biggest advertising push in
years, which was set to begin with ads introducing the billionaire
financier as the brand’s new spokesperson. “He was supposed to be
Jeffrey, the Subway Guy, for chrissakes! We bought network airtime. We
paid God knows how much to plaster his face all over cups, sandwich
wrappers, and window displays, which have already shipped to our 42,000
locations worldwide. We even spent a few hundred thousand dollars
working with our chefs to devise a limited-edition grilled lamb sandwich
with all of his favorite ingredients.” At press time, Subway was
reportedly looking into replacing Epstein with Academy Award–winning
filmmaker Roman Polanski.

Yeah, for me this Epstein thing is not a partisan thing or a Trump thing. This is a bunch of rich, powerful assholes diddling kids. The lot of them should be fed through a wood chipper. I don't care who they are, Clinton, Trump, the Pope, whomever was involved. Doesn't matter to me. I hope everyone involved is exposed and properly prosecuted with no mercy. I have absolutely no patience or understanding or compassion for anyone sexually abusing children. No plea deals, no leniency, no pardons. Grind 'em up.Ledbetterman10 said:I shudder to think what Epstein's four overseas trips with Bill Clinton in 2002-2003 were like."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." I personally care more about the possibility of Trump being involved because the man is currently the "leader of the free world" and could get elected for another 4 years (think of the blackmail and possible abuse of power to keep this under wraps). So for me this is very much a Trump thing.jeffbr said:

I understand that position. For me it is more of a blanket hatred of child molesters. They are all deserving of the worst possible outcomes. They should all be tried, convicted (if found guilty), and punished to the fullest extent of the law. If you want to prioritize the order of trials and convictions and put Trump first in line, I'm great with that. But I won't excuse the behavior of any of them because of some good things that some may have done previously. The child molestation outweighs any good deeds. Those aren't offsetting accounts on the books. Just saying, if Clinton for example is found to have participated, then he and Trump (who most likely did participate) and all of the others should go down right along with Epstein.dignin said:

So for me this is very much a Trump thing.jeffbr said:
Yeah, for me this Epstein thing is not a partisan thing or a Trump thing. This is a bunch of rich, powerful assholes diddling kids. The lot of them should be fed through a wood chipper. I don't care who they are, Clinton, Trump, the Pope, whomever was involved. Doesn't matter to me. I hope everyone involved is exposed and properly prosecuted with no mercy. I have absolutely no patience or understanding or compassion for anyone sexually abusing children. No plea deals, no leniency, no pardons. Grind 'em up.Ledbetterman10 said:I shudder to think what Epstein's four overseas trips with Bill Clinton in 2002-2003 were like.0 -

Agreed. The catholic and Protestant, or was it baptist?, priests as well.jeffbr said:
I personally care more about the possibility of Trump being involved because the man is currently the "leader of the free world" and could get elected for another 4 years (think of the blackmail and possible abuse of power to keep this under wraps). So for me this is very much a Trump thing.jeffbr said:

Frustrated Subway Marketers Scrap $150 Million Jeffrey Epstein Ad Campaign
MILFORD, CT—Bemoaning the tremendous loss of time and resources, frustrated executives at the Subway restaurant chain have scrapped a $150 million advertising campaign featuring Jeffrey Epstein, company officials confirmed Tuesday. “Goddammit, we were just gearing up to launch Jeffrey Epstein as the new face of Subway, and now all that work has gone down the toilet,” said chief brand and innovation officer Len Van Popering, explaining that sex-trafficking charges filed against Epstein yesterday had derailed Subway’s biggest advertising push in years, which was set to begin with ads introducing the billionaire financier as the brand’s new spokesperson. “He was supposed to be Jeffrey, the Subway Guy, for chrissakes! We bought network airtime. We paid God knows how much to plaster his face all over cups, sandwich wrappers, and window displays, which have already shipped to our 42,000 locations worldwide. We even spent a few hundred thousand dollars working with our chefs to devise a limited-edition grilled lamb sandwich with all of his favorite ingredients.” At press time, Subway was reportedly looking into replacing Epstein with Academy Award–winning filmmaker Roman Polanski.
