Yanks' farm system has performed so well - really impressive.

Yeah, have been meaning to mention him here for a while. He’s supposed to be one of the best international prospects in a long time

I saw a story on one of the sites (ESPN) about the kid they were looking to sign but I did not click.
Hope he lives up to the hype!

16 year old switch hitter with power, speed and an arm. Gave him over $5 mil, basically all of their international money. yanks obviously have a solid history on the international market too

Been saying this for YEARS, the MLB needs to have the International players in the Draft. If the NBA & NHL can have the International players in their Drafts, but MLB can't?

The same rich clubs that help subsidize the shitty clubs. Clubs who don't always put the money back into their team.

So....are you arguing that my opinion statement was incorrect, or agreeing and providing your opinion on why they are set up that way?

Just curious.  My favorite team is one that I suspect makes money and could spend more.

Big markets favor/cause the rich clubs. Revenue sharing is in place for the overall health of the sport. I think I read somewhere last year that teams got 118 million each? (Not certain), but if each team is capped at less than 6 million for international signings, I would say that rule doesn't favor them.

This team is going into the break with a minimum of a 6.5 game in the division, possibly the best record in the league and less than 10 home runs from judge and Stanton. This team is so good. Has to be an all in, World Series or bust season.

That said, looks like the pen could use a break.

Quite the opportunity for Rucco here. Can’t believe the Yankees play by play situation right now

Tough loss today.  Hey question for you guys, looking to bring my three sons to their first yanks game ever on Sunday, June 21st.  As of now it is a 1:05 start, is there any way it could turn into espn s Sunday night game of the week?  Thanks.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

Seeing that it was in June you should find a time machine.

They're playing the Rockies that weekend so I doubt it. The next week they're playing the Red Sox which is more likely.

Washington-Atlanta is the prime time game on 7/21 and usually, those games get set a month in advance if not more.
