I'll take a PJ show over an Ed solo show any day, but this was special..!
When he walked on stage he looked super serious and kinda tired.. Then Long Road started and it was clear why he was so serious.. Then LBC and while that song is better, musically, with a full band, this was another magic moment..! Through both songs it was obvious that Roskilde is a wound that will never heal.. Ed had tears in his eyes throughout these songs..
The middle part of the show was what an Eddie show is.. Real fucking good, but not quite PJ..
Then Seasons rolled on by.. I got goosebumps like I haven't had in forever.. So raw.. So emotional.. So focused!
And then a tearful Eddie left stage and the show was over.. Such a "weird" ending.. You just wanted to hug him! Thank God he has Glen!
    A night I'll never forget

I'm surprised he would even preform on this day. Unless, as hard as it may be personally, its important for him to keep their memory alive.

It was a great show! Completely different from Berlin and we know why! He really set the tone with the first songs and this show had a quieter, more emotional/ heavy hearted feel to it. The ending was abrupt but kinda fitting. I’m glad I got to experience both shows that were special in their own unique ways. Plus it was fun to meet so many great people, you know who you are 😎

What a show, Glen and Eddie were terrific, setlists were great and the crowd was really into it.
I don’t have the words but it was an awesome show from start to finish. The emotion was there but there was also many funny moments that softened his performance.
I have been quite critical with the Brussels show meaning that I am definitively not a EV fanboy but that Düsseldorf was just perfect.

...And for the folks of Alternative nation that have copy/paste my critical review of Brussels to make an article, please feel free to copy/paste me once more but tor the sake of a positive review this time. Thanks!

So he made sure no one could know about Seasons before. And he skipped Smile again... would have loved to hear it in Berlin or here!

What an incredible night! I am totally flashed! 2 brilliant musicians in one gig. Great setlist, great crowd. Some very emotional moments as Seasons. Black! Black! What about this fantastic version of Black! What more to expect?!?

Btw I have to say thank you to the crowd..
During the show there were a few people that really wanted to be heard, that yelled all kinds of crap towards Ed.. It was a little bit annoying to be honest..
But when Ed came out before Seasons and talked about Lily being born just a few hours before Roskilde, and how fucked up that day had been, everyone were quiet..! You could hear a pin drop!
That made me proud of all of us

There was also an agressive screaming drunk idiot that had to be escorted out of the block some rows behind me and I also do not understand the amount of people forcing others to stand up and make room to leave the row for a new beer every second song but of course that's not Eddie's fault. On the other hand this night was unreal. I expected an amazing, emotional show but this one was something else. I second the guy up front with his sign "Thank You for who I am". :)

Funny, that guy was really pissing me and a lot of people off.... holding up his huge sign for almost the entire show and blocking everyone else’s view behind him! Show it once or twice but then it’s enough!

...I just wanted to say that I totally agree to this comment as PJ's and Ed's music means so much to me. Of course it would piss me off, too if this sign blocks my view for too long. Hope you enjoyed the show anyway  ;)
