    Putting it on the new record would be only laziness at this point.. Honestly, if you don't have nothing better to fill in the blank space, it's not a good sign. I don't think we need another average album.

    Eh, I wouldn't hold anyone to that. The band has a history of changing their minds on things. Remember when they said their second album was titled "Five Against One"...which was pulled at the last second and retitled "Vs.". Or Their next album was to be titled "Life" which was retitled to "Vitalogy". They can say something, and then change their minds and do whatever they want. Nothing is final, until it is. And even then...

    I think it should be the name of the new album when and if it gets released. Pearl Jam: Forthcoming or Coming Forth. At least a song title!

    I think it’s hilarious that people are actually asking the band to leave this off an upcoming album. I didn’t know that the fans were able to decide these things. LOL.

    I would rather hear a new song in place of it. It will be at least 2 years old when the album comes out I am guessing and it is a very skippable song. No one on this board should think a post on here will influence what the band does with this album in anyway shape or form though but I do think it can produce a decent discussion. Especially since the band chose this song to come out with first because it was the best of the group that they had already.

    I dig Can't Deny Me. It's better than even e.g. Spin the Black Circle.

    But still... let us pray for the new album...



    I hope they knock it out of the park with super-inspiration and a producer who can force them to actually spend time in a studio. Knock it out like when Neil Young released Harvest Moon.
