After missing out on the Artist sale for Foo Fighters/Voltrons Fillmore Night 2 poster, (there are 16 on ebay right now... aka 10% of all the posters that were sold this morning) I got a bee in my bonnet to hang up the posters that I have framed already to justify why I get so mad about these stupid flippers.

Emek’s prints have always been hit or miss for me, but AWOLNATION have been one of my favorite newer bands and I missed the boat on this back in 2011.

Someone dumped their poster collection on Ebay a couple years back and let this one go for $50 and free shipping =)

being one of the only AWOL prints done by a major poster artist, to me it’s priceless ;)

Just got this one framed. Got the frame from Frame It Easy (I highly recommend them...great people). There is an issue with the mat. They cut it the wrong size, so they are sending me a new one for free. In any case, I put it in there for now & will disassemble once the new mat arrives and will post an updated photo. I love the white metal frame & the olive green mat. And yeah, it's not perfectly centered because the wrong mat size kept throwing me off. Oh well! Ha! Big thanks to @densan !

Finally got my first PJ concert’s poster framed...this one needed restoration to get to this spot before framing as the previous owner(s) seemingly hung and rehung it with pins and/or staples...very pleased with how it turned out. I’ve been given the green light to redecorate our basement with a PJ theme, so excited to get this one in with my other framed show posters.

well done!  Where did you have them done?  2 mats on each?  Wider mat fabric covered?  What color is the thin mat on the BK?  dark green or black?  They look great!

A very newbie question here: I managed to pick up a signed EV poster from a solo show and want to frame it. What's the best way to flatten posters after taking them out of the tube?

First...take it out of the tube and just let it 'relax' for a day or two. Once it's a looser roll you should put a piece of non-acid paper down on a flat service, lay the poster face down on that and then use a few small, non-sharp edge items in the corners and along the edges to weigh it down. Bean bags or something similar work great. Small bags of rice, beans, etc. And the sooner the better.

If it becomes too much of a hassle just sell it to me for a thousand something
