Heard they are doing a small North American tour in Jun. Never seen them before but always wanted to. They look like a fun live band. Plus I like their music. :)

    yeah i saw the webcast for them last weekend. it was fun. Howlin' Pelle seems like a great front man. I remember during one of the MTV music awards it was them and The Vines going back to back and he was like i know who to see more of us but that is all the time we have or something like that.

    I missed them the last time they were in philly ('07?"):(

    OK, watching videos of them from last weekend, and they fooking rock! They're so fun, can't believe I never learned more about them or got interested in them. ugh, hate when that happens with bands :) So you're going to their Philly show in june RIGHT!

    On the 25th of June 2010 they performed at Hard Rock Calling in London's Hyde Park before Ben Harper and Relentless Seven and the headline act, Pearl Jam. On stage, Almqvist declared "I am here to save your evening."

    Being from Sweden, I can feel tired of The Hives. But they play at skatepunkband Millencolins 20th anniversary and I might catch them there.

    First time I ever even heard the name was the Coachella Webcast...So glad I tuned in. I was smiling the whole time! That everybody sit down thing cracked me up! I have to see them, but based on the schedule I won't this time. Someday though! :)

    They were right up there among my favorite sets of the entire weekend. They had the whole crowd into it. It was so much fun. And yes, I did lie down. ;)

    They're a very fun live band, I've seen them quite a few times at festivals and always really enjoyed myself. Not something I'd listen to at home very often though, I don't find them to be that interesting music-wise.

    They were great & made for a great fun atmosphere until the beer throwers & people who thought crowd surfing during Alive was still cool in 2010!!

    Caught these guys for the first time tonight. Show was pretty entertaining. There were two opening bands, Fidlar and Flesh Lights, which were pretty decent. Hives took the stage at 10:00. I only had one problem with this show. They only played 15 songs for an hour and 15 minutes. :( They were great though and I wasn't expecting a mosh pit throughout the entire show, but they could have added a few more songs.

    I've been dying to see these guys live. I've been a fan for years! I love their Tussles from Brussels live DVD - it's amazing! Such energy!

    Don't think they'll ever get down my way, though... Would love it if they would!

    looks like they are putting out a new album later this year. Possibly new single by the end of the week. Touring the states starting in philly on Saturday night. Would be fun to see them again.
