    I dig it. Sound isn't as full-bodied as Black and Dinosaurs with sharper guitars but still like it overall. Title track is a stomper. Hint of a mid album lull but finishes far better than dinosaurs. Goes over well live too.
    Stars are suns to other people.

    This newer album is good, but it didn’t capture my attention as much as the first two did for some reason. I’ve been on a Black Gives Way kick lately. 10 years after the fact and that thing is a certified masterpiece. A buried treasure for all AIC fans.

    Definitely agree with you about BGWTB!  Loved it when it came out but was afraid it wasn't going to age well but it absolutely continues to be a banger.  Six years after TDPDH, I still can't really get into it.  I'm much happier with Rainier Fog and think that it's going to have more longevity than TDPDH.

    I went to AIC in April.  I never got back into them when they started up again with DuVall, so I downloaded all three albums.  Lots of good stuff.  Just over a month later, I think Ranier Fog is my favorite of the three.  And "Red Giant" is definitely my favorite song post-Layne.  

    Overall, they've done a good job replacing a great, distinctive voice.

    I Love Alice In Chains material all of it love thier last 3 albums, seeing them august 18th and 20th 2019 here in ohio both shows i got the pit and will have seen them 11 times since most first time in 2013, at Rock on the Range, and then SoundGarden plays right after them ,a perfect two 1st times seeing AIC AND SG

    That is AWESOME! About time this got Reissued on vinyl. Great album. 
    When I was 15 I bought the Facelift cassette tape before I knew of the “Seattle Scene”. In fact, I rocked out to this for about 8 months and didn’t even know they were from Seattle.
