Time to bump this old thread in anticipation of an Australia and New Zealand tour.  Late 2020 or early 2021 ?

I'd petition the Wellington City Council to pull their heads out of their arses and get more gigs into the Cake Tin, including Pearl Jam. They'd sell out Mt Smart, The Cake Tin and Rugby Park in Christchurch and I reckon a three date NZ tour would be something special, not to mention the dates across the ditch that would give our Aussie friends a welcome tonic after recent events.

Predictions for an Aus/NZ tour are now early 2021.

Video of an interview Eddie did with an Australian radio station.  He sort of said Australia might kick off a tour .. but I'm not getting too excited.

Saw this as well. What better way to celebrate the return of concerts and traveling than a road trip around the Australian coast following PJ. We can dream.

Time to bump this thread again.

Pearl Jam Australian tour in 2023 please before we all get too old.

    Bump!

We need an Australian tour before I get so old that I don't want to go anymore!  Eddie is getting old too.   :disappointed::bawling:;)

Anytime next year would be good!

Cancelled my 10 club membership which expires tomorrow after 13 years of membership.

Had many years of fun posting on this thread until social media took over.

Still hoping for an Australian tour soon but I get the impression that Pearl Jam don't care about their Australian fans anymore so I decided not to give them any more of my money in fan club membership fees.    Ten Club membership means basically nothing now with regards to concert seats and I'm not interested in merch or a digital magazine.

So goodbye 10 club it's been fun.

  • That's too bad.  I got GA tix thru 10C for StL, which was nice.  But who knows if PJ/Ed go back to Oz.  Maybe Ed.  Might be too much for PJ at this point.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

Auckland bootlegs getting a bit of a thrashing at the moment.

Where would you want to see them play and what songs? I guess they could maybe tour Aus too...

Is @doompony still kicking around with Teddie Vedder?

Not going to be cheap wherever it is. Smashing Pumpkins with Janes Addiction is $200 AUD although it is a mini festival. RHCP was $200+ apart from us lucky ones who waited and snagged it at $79

I'd prefer an arena run, as we've not had that in 17 years but I feel when we do get shows it will be stadiums, Suncorp, Allianz, Aaimi Park or Marvel, AO and NIB in OZ and maybe Mount Smart and Forsyth Barr in NZ for something different. If it's stadiums, then we are looking at the end of the year at the earliest.

I'd like to see them at Hanging Rock, and maybe they could pull some Hunter Valley shows. Bruce has done it, why not PJ!

After 9+ years there will be considerable demand.

    2003 - Sydney x3,
    2006 - Reading Festival,
2007 - Katowice, London, Nijmegen, Rock Werchter,
    2008 - MSG x2, Hartford, Mansfield x2, Beacon Theater,
    2009 - Melbourne, Sydney,
2010 - I watched it go to fire!
    2011 - EV Brisbane x3, Newcastle, Sydney x3,
    2012 - Manchester x 2, Amsterdam x2, Prague, Berlin x2, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen,
    2014 - Sydney, EV Sydney x3
